I heard it too. Sounds like he was genuinely pissed. Can't say I disagree with him; I've been getting on that station for the last several years for putting us to sleep with Laker stories and never being involved in the Kings day-to-day stuff.

In a way I understand and support John Ireland trying to pump up hockey in L.A. but at the same time I have to wonder where is he and his cohorts all season long anyway? I mean they don't have to do wall-to-wall coverage during the season but they actually ignore the Kings completely outside of news updates that the Kings are actually playing a particular evening. :/
