2014-2015 Manchester Monarchs - 2015 Calder Cup Champions!

Yes, please! Or just a solo Ken would be nice.
Has anyone ever told this Ryan dude it's color commentary, not a dissertation? :shakehead

You aren't a fan of Chris Ryan? I enjoy listening to Ken and Chris, even when the Monarchs play at home, always listen to them on my smart bug radio.

did i just see a utica dude waving another fan's prothesis? and then cut to a cheerleader? :amazed:

No, not a fan. He's like Captain Obvious and needs to learn that "less is more".
Can't hold a candle to Jim Rivers. Ken and Jim were a classic pair.

And pretending to drink out of the leg. Not something I want to see again.

The feed keeps freezing.

Someone asked for another feed. I don't have one right now. Hope you find one.

Not a good game from Manchester, it's been all Utica in the 3rd with time running out.

At least Kempe has looked great, Bartosak has done well in relief. Mostly everyone else has been ineffective.

Barto pulled. 6-on-4. You almost need 8-on-4 with Markstrom in goal. With Markstrom having one hand tied behind his back. Blindfolded.

lololol Idiot color guy saying Mersch hit markstrom and reply shows his own guy hit him, get your reply before you make a statement like that.

Now that he's reading it's 2-1 his volume seems more appropriate.

 we need the next game!
2-1. we still lead the series.
o'neill will hopefully be back by friday.
maybe JF too...

Just remember the video you are watching is the scoreboard feed, but the commentators are calling it for radio.

I know they are biased but he could have said "mersch knocked into the net and whoa Markstrom is on the ice." Say what you know for sure not what you're guessing. This could be why he's not any higher in color.

Coach Stothers refers to reporter's "asinine question(s)" but is in better humor when asked about Kempe. Listening via Andy Tonge on Periscope.

It's gotta be stressful being a reporter. Note to reporters: don't ask Stothers about injuries and don't ask him to rate anything on a scale from 1 to 10.

at the end of day I think we all should of expected some push back from Utica in game 3. sucks to lose but there is no way anyone should expect this not to be a tough, long series.
sucks about the injuries. but I wouldn't expect any news unless someone is out for the playoffs. Sounds like Barto played well and he gave his team a chance to win which is all you can ask. Hopefully if he is the guy now his back holds up because yeah I would rather not see Lerg in goal.
take a deep breath, and regroup and lets go win game 4.

Just watched the game.

The hit on O'Neill was dirty and desrerved a 5 min. major. The fact the Terry Koharksi has reffed two games in this final is ridiculous! It's no surprise that he was also reffing game 1 in which Schultz was hurt when he was hit from behind. Koharski has a reputation around the league that is nothing short of incredibly negative. I'll be at all the remaing games in the series, if I see Dave Andrews (AHL commissioner) I'm letting him have it. Hopefully... Schultz and O'Neill can come back. As for Berube, I don't know what happen. But it looked like may have pulled or tore something. I'll have to look closer at replays.

That first period was rough. You knew the Comets would come out strong. That, combine with losing O'Neill 2 minutes into the game, then Berube 8 minutes later, shook them up. However, what an incredible game from Andrian Kempe! That 1st period goal was huge for the Monarchs confidence, and I thought they actually played pretty well for the rest of the game. On the 3rd Comet it looked like Bartosak was interfered with to me. What did everyone else think?

I hate to that guy complaining about refs. But sometimes it has to be said. How checking a player right in the numbers, face first into boards, and causing an game ending injury is not a penalty is beyond me.

Anyways, I got tickets to games 4 & 5. I maybe the only Monarch fan going. Anyone else going?

Kempe has looked really special in some of these playoff games. He can really fly and handle the puck at full speed. Excited to see what type of player he becomes. Seems like it took a little while but he's getting more and more comfortable with the style of hockey here and with his linemates.

I love that Weal always gets into scrums defending his teammates. He's just a fearless little SOB! But he's gotta put his helmet on tighter.

I watch all the games, and I'm not a fan of Ryan either!!! Mostly why? Because all he is to me is another fan! If he watch enough, he has his favorite players, and it's obvious!! He's almost slobbers all over himself when he talks about them, usually over nothing! Also, Ken is hard to deal with as well. He does a very poor job of telling you who just played the puck! It's like, "Manchester just passed it out of the zone, and Utica intercepted it at the red line" , etc. The pair together I would put their hockey IQ at about a 5 out of 10.

I'm glad you'll be there representing Manchester, CT. Those fans nearly blew the roof off. I hope the injuries aren't serious, though Berube's looks to be. They've dealt with this before, though, when Brian O'Neill's leg was broken right before last season's playoffs.
