And not Scuderi?

Scuderi probably doesn't have much value right now and has a modified NTC.

As I said, I don't like the idea of moving one of Martin or Neal, but because of the cap and certain players with movement clauses, they may not be able to keep both of them next year.

Nashville is sniffing around for a forward. Using pick #11 as trade bait.

Neal for Forsberg, Wilson and 11?

Would **** myself tbh..

I'd want Hornqvist instead Wilson. Possibly instead of Forsberg.

His game is ugly, but he's an absolute nightmare to play against.

i still think that Sutter is a prime candidate to move. his QO is $2.7M and his contract demands are probably in the mid $3M range. Goc would probably be willing to sign for less than Sutter's QO.

Berglund signing for 3.7 doesn't help things. If Sutter wants to play hardball, he'll point to that.

There was a thread that said confirmed link trade that had Neal for Kane. Then it was locked after 16 replies and later deleted while I refreshed before I could click on it.

Was there actually a source or speculation?

yeahhh, same story with him...revolving RW, not much we can do about that i think.

You could, you know, put one of Vanek or Neal with him instead of having two goal scorers on the same line as Malkin.. since that worked so well the last time.

I don't know if that would clear enough space.

I'd hesitate to move him after reading Johnston's summary. Seems like a good fit.

And I say that as someone who despises Sutter's game.

That said, if he does want to be paid like Berglund, eff him. I'd flip him for Berglund in a second. He shouldn't be making the same money.
