@SportsCenter: THIS JUST IN: A source close to the situation expects Adrian Peterson to play Sunday against Carolina. (via @JosinaAnderson)

Surprised he's going to play
Guys a warrior I guess

AP has been through allot.

"Things that I go through, I've said a thousand times, it helps me play this game to a different level," he said after practice, about an hour after the child's death. "I'm able to kind of release a lot of my stress through this sport, so that's what I plan on doing."

Hands up. At the beginning of the season, who thought Dallas and Philly would be duking it out for the division lead, and the Redskins and Giants would sucking hind teat?

Go Cowboys!

Tony Homo rules!

P.S. And holy ****. I know they haven't exactly played some juggernauts yet, but the Chiefs are orchestrating one of the biggest one season turnarounds this league has ever seen. At a perfect 6-0, only allowing an incredible 65 PA in total, and with the now struggling Texans on the menu this weekend, followed by very winnable games against Cleveland and Buffalo, this team could be going into the big matchup against Denver in week 11 with a 9-0 start and the bye week to rest up before the big one. Alex Smith has always been a QB to just manage a game, and let the bigger parts do the heavy lifting. I know the organization has made some astute player moves, but can a coach (And Reid) make this much of a difference in this short of time? Perhaps based on this model, there may be hope yet for the Eskimos.

Did Peterson even know that this was his kid? Seems odd he'd show up to practice when his kid is on life support.

The NFC East is an interesting division. Gotta remember the Redskins started 3-6 last year before their amazing run to finish out the season.

RGIII had his best start of the year and looks like he is back to last season's form. If he stays healthy I think the Redskins have a very good chance of repeating.

They are only 1 1/2 games out of the lead in the weakest division in football.

Either manning is gonna do something pretty special or the broncos will have their first loss

Full credit to the colts they have outplayed the broncos both offensively and defensively

Oh man I really thought they were gonna come back, and they had their chances. Late interception and fumble made the difference. Just too many mistakes from Denver and too few mistakes from the Colts.

So the ever so intriguing KC Chiefs are the only undefeated team at 7-0
6-1 go the Broncos.

First half wasn't very good. Second half was better.

Hillman getting the ball on the 3 was ****ing ridiculous. The refs buying that Andrew Luck dive was also ridiculous. Not the finest night for the zebras but the Broncos didn't play well enough to deserve the win. The last three games have been less than impressive, thank god we have a bye week. I fear Champ Bailey's career may be over which is sad.

It's so incredible that after 15 years of being a fan, the Bengals are relevant and doing amazing. Hopefully it doesn't take the Oilers that long x.x

Yeah definitely impressive seeing the bengals put up 49 points

Interesting game in Denver but in the end they traded interceptions and the broncos will win again

The KC Cheifs remain the only undefeated team

The Giants have the luxury of playing in the leagues worst division so after ing losing the first five games they have two straight wins and are two wins away from the division lead

The mighty Patriots don't look so mighty this year but they are still winning games

Very early still, but there's a reasonable chance Denver can go 13-3 and have to go into either Indy or New England for the first playoff game. What a story that would be.

what a monster day by megatron

50 fantasy points from him today! Great comeback by the Lions.

The Chiefs are the story of the season so far. Good for Andy Reid and Alex Smith. Two second rounders for Smith has definitely been worth it for the Chiefs.

Cannot believe the Redskins collapsed against the Broncos. It all looked so promising at half time.

Lol Dez Bryant. Wants to be a leader so blasting the Qb on the sidelines is how he shows this?

Also thanks Dallas, $20 dollar bet with 4-1 odds with 5 minutes left in the game. Minus the beer I had to buy the guy that made the bet I made $75

Thanks to another "quality game" from the Cowboys and the Broncos rolling, the Giants, despite the start, are only 2 games out of 1st. The NFC East is atrocious.

Not too surprising. KC wasn't going 16-0, makes sense that they'd lose the toughest game on their schedule.

Watching the highlights from the monday nighter
Great game but that last play was totally pass interference and a flag was even thrown but the refs decided to not call the fowl, which was weird

Brady was dropping mad f bombs after the game, was just ripping into the ref. thought it was obvious pass interference, helluva game either way though, Cam Newton looks like a complete stud, has he turned a corner finally?
