Chicago is sitting all there physical forwards...Bickell and Shaw are the only scrappy ones in the line-up. Kings can take advantage of that with Penner, Brown, King, Fraser, Nolan and Clifford.
When going to Chicago...just one small thing... Don't order fish during the flight...

If we can take Game 1 I love our odds.
Ideally the series will be 1-1 come Monday.

There's a Star Trek convention taking place at the LA Kings hotel in Chicago. Darryl Sutter meets the Trekkies.
This morning, Darryl Sutter asked a guy in a Star Trek uniform where the team bus was. Darryl thought he was the hotel doorman.
Holy crap that is hilarious.
I hope Sutter ran into this guy.
Not necessarily. This is from earlier this season, but it suggests that Chicago is more apt to match zones than lines. They're in the top five of the graph, while we're in the bottom, suggesting that Sutter's priorities are to match lines, with less regard to where the face off is. Of course, this is not absolute, since we don't usually see a guy like Colin Fraser taking defensive zone draws unless it follows an icing.Doubt the top line do much offensively this series. Will be matched against Toews every game i imagine, and both lines will just negate each other
In their series against Detroit, the Blackhawks gave Jonathan Toews 40% of all their offensive zone faceoffs, that's a lot. Conversely, they gave Dave Bolland 42% of all of their defensive zone faceoffs. Also of note, in games on the road Jonathan Toews only saw 4 total defensive zone faceoffs. So what we can conclude is that we are going to see a lot of Jonathan Toews in offensive zone faceoffs no matter who the Kings put out on the ice and especially in games at Staples, while the same can be said of Dave Bolland in the defensive zone.
i was trying to figure out where they were staying based on Rosen's hotel pic. i had it down to two hotels, then i saw the twitter feeds on the trekkies at the same hotel. bingo i know where they are. the team is 5-minutes from my house. go stalker mode?
Sutter should really consider Martinez over Muzzin, while Muzzin hasn't been horrible, Martinez is much better at passing and starting the break out.
Agree totally. This is the series where Martinez should play and Muzzin should sit.
Well, no. Ideally, the series will be 2-0 Kings on Monday
Yup, we don't need to worry about their forecheck so we don't have to worry about size. We just need better mobility and passing from our zone. Amart would be a great decision for these series.
Hahahahaha...Nomad!
"Non-sequitur. Your facts are uncoordinated." I've used that quote several times in the past responding to morons on the main boards...that is, when I wasn't being infracted.
