Alright, time for my noms:
Best poster - trentmccleary. Not everyone agrees with him, which seems to suit him just fine. He consistently backs up his points with well-researched stats and information and is always a great read.
Best thread - A few good candidates this year, but I have to pitch my support behind the playoff pool one. Those last few pages should go down in HFSens lore.
Best avatars - As a fan of both M:TG and Turris, I have to give some props to Canadian Guy. HM to Classless Manked and danishh, both of whom would be ridiculously easy to identify by their avatar alone.
Best Signature - Mandatory vote to AndrePetersson, although I'm still left constantly wondering about her gender.
Most dedicated - Tough call but I'll go for BonkTastic. It takes a lot of dedication to be a regular poster and a moderator for a board that's mostly active on EST all the way from India.
Funniest poster - This board is insanely blessed to have some really funny posters. I can't decide. In the lounge alone, I easily laugh out loud five times a day. Leave this one with me.
Best GDT/Maker - CanadianHockey. It really shouldn't even be debatable. Since his MS Paint players, CH has established himself as the top quality GDT poster on these boards and arguably one of the top GDT posters on HF.
Prospect expert - ILCN (WasTeD now, I think? Might be off on the capitalization.) I always enjoy reading his take on prospects from any level. He's honest when he hasn't watched someone live, but the dude could honestly be a scout. Great eye for young talent.
Nicest poster - ZekeA. No-brainer for me here. The man never has a bad word to say about anyone and always has time for anyone, whether it's to answer a question, offer an opinion or just talk B-Sens. HM to Saab, who's always saying hey to people.
Smartest Poster - I'm gonna say danishh. A lot of good, smart posters on these boards but intelligence often falls to the wayside when heated arguments happen. danishh doesn't fall victim to the mud-slinging most of the time and is pretty much our resident CBA expert. I know people with multiple degrees who can't make heads or tails out of that thing. danishh is a ****ing genius.
Most improved Poster - MandyAlwaysKnows. Sure, we've all had run-ins where we don't agree with his opinion, but MAK has come a long way from his time as 19sens11. He's far less antagonistic than he used to be and debates the post instead of the poster. I find myself disagreeing with him often, but I respect the hell out of him for putting out unpopular opinions and sticking by them.
Most underrated Poster - TheOriginalSilf. With all the Silfverberg-related names on the boards, Silf seemed to just be another one in the pack, but he's brilliant. He doesn't post as much as some people on here, but I'd love to see that change. His posts are always well-written and interesting to read. HM to tony d, who seems to slip under the radar but is a great read.
Best moderator - I'll have to go BonkTastic here, too. He doesn't immediately halt posting or discussion if it starts to turn south -- he gives it a chance to get back to where it should be. He also obviously has a ton of fun with everything, which is contagious and goes a long way. HM to SixthSens, who is everywhere, always.
Poster who needs to post more - FolignoQuantumLeap. Could easily be a candidate for poster of the year if he'd post more. I was irrationally upset when he posted that he'd be taking a break.
Most entertaining poster - John Holmes. Even with the trollface avatar, I can't tell whether he's trolling or not half the time. But he occasionally makes good points, is occasionally good for a laugh, and is a pretty well-rounded poster once you realize he's not always serious. HM to Spezza19... sorry, I mean THIO. Either he's trying to get people's goats or else he has the shortest temper ever.
