Well, basically he got down the depth chart. Guys like Palat and Johnson offer the same offensive potential, while being very good defensivly and are known for there great PKing. Conacher only offered the offensive side.

Conacher was a "sexy" player, everybody loved him because of his story and his impressive fast development. Bad after all he is nothing special. His potential is somewhere between 2nd and 3rd liner. I don't want to downgrade him by any means, but he was overhyped by everyone (especially us Lightning fans, me included) and his impressive start hyped him even further.

But I belief that he will have a decent and long NHL carreer.
 
Pretty much the guys who you'd expect to play well, are playing well. McFarland having a strong period.

Don't think so... Seth Jones is amazing though. He actually got knee on knee hit by some dumb tryout player, but he was okay. I really cannot believe we passed on his kid.

I've also been eyeing forsberg, he's been ok, but not spectacular. His hands are evidently awesome.

I got much bigger fears of Bjugstad being Matthias v 2.0

Nice to hear that, but i'm sure Barkov is going to be an amazing too. Pretty much all of the Nashville fanbase wanted Barkov before the draft because we thought Jones wouldn't be there at 4.

Clapperton. I left after our 2nd goalie let in 5 goals in less then half a period played.

Bjugstad was decent, nothing great. Same with Howden.

Trocheck, McFarland, Petrovic, Beaulivillier were best players for us.

That's kind of disappointing. How did Shaw look? Did Petrovic and Racine play? Honestly also pretty disappointed that there's been so little chatter on here! We just kicked off rookie camp w the best prospect pool in the league and there's like 10 posts about it! Come on people!
 
Bah gawd. Whoever was in net was truly terrible. I know the defense wasn't that great but holy **** get in position. He was caught sleeping for like 3 of those goals.
