That there below average lol. Us, Rangers, Isles, Jets, Sabres, Flyers... Yea just whole lot of mediocrity. I dont think you guys are really an average team, just the way the game as going at the time. Hope you play average the next game we have against you though, lord knows were gonna need it

It's really insane were still in position to get in the top 8 with how dreadful we have been. Man the East is ass. If we can just find a way to win 1 damn game I think it could snowball into a streak that could get us going again. Gotta think were due to beat Boston at some point so hopefully Wednesday is the turn around

We came real close to beating them last time, we gotta stay positive no matter what...as far as I'm concerned this next game is the hardest down the stretch

Truthfully I am just confused by the Leafs hate. I hope the Leafs do you guys favours and beat the teams ahead of you. I hate the isles and the Jets with a burning passion. Brodeur deserves playoff action more than any of those 2 clubs put together.

Overall I agree, we have had a lot of lucky bounces. The biggest thing going for us seems to be endless offensive depth and actually hitting people. If Reimer can just keep his basics and play his position with consistency, we may actually be a decent team for more years. In the mean while, I will milk the **** out of this streak

I dont hate the Leafs either. Some of their fans are annoying, but I have no problem with them. Rather them get in then the Islanders Rangers Flyers

Wish you good luck man. Don't read too much into my comments though, I'm a very frustrated Devils fan right now. Constantly outshooting the opposition but still couldn't get 2 pts since Methuselah.

I've never really hated the Leafs at all. There a really exciting team to watch this year. With the way we have been going, watching their offense makes me jealous.

I haven't actually 'hated' the Leafs since the Pat Quinn/Tie Domi/Darcy Tucker days, though it's sometimes fun to laugh at their futility since. I don't have a real axe to grind with this year's team and they are entertaining. It'd be nice to see an Original Six 4-5 series (either Boston or Montreal vs. the Leafs in the first round).

Reimer really has improved too. Not sure if it would hold up, but he looks better than the last couple years I'll say that much. His rebound control is a little shaky though, but it didn't really cost him tonight.

Their fans on here who have come to our board have been pretty classy too. I remember one was very encouraging and confident in us on here after Parise left.

He's lesser of the two evils for us. I missed tonights game so I can't say much, however our back up is scrivens who prolly gives half of leaf nation a heart attack when he handles the puck. Also he can't redirect the puck as well properly and gives bigger rebounds. Reimer is still trying to improve in that aspect, I believe it's mainly due to Rick St. croix is trying to make him more aggressive in his game, from a passive goalie who would go back inside the net ala Francois Allaire. Some nights he'll barely give it up other nights he'll have more control.

I honestly can't say. We've done it in the past and gave them a good beating of it too. We might be able to since our first line finally woke up while second line has gone to sleep and third line is due to wake up. It's always a Jekyll and Hyde game for us as we are playing well defensively now under Carlyle but we can't be sure if we will explode offensively or not. PP isn't also a strong part of our game so even if we do go on the PP, we tend to struggle.
