I'd like both of them as well but knowing Lou's track record with bringing in players from outside the organization, I'm not getting my hopes up. You'd probably see 1 or the other here but not both. I don't see us giving Horton the kind of contract hes gonna want. Weiss sounds like he'd fit in well here though. I think he would replace Clarkson if he left. I can't see them both being on the roster.

After reading the two blogs on In Lou We Trust, I think we need to keep Clarkson, but even still I'd have trouble giving him anything over $4.5M/year (in terms of cap hit - a salary that has a peak of one or two $5M years then declines would be okay).

I didn't even know he played for the Blackhawks! I remember him playing for Anaheim cause he scored a goal against us last year.

I never liked him at all when he played for us. I mean he was better than Mark Fraser I guess!
