Eliteprospects has Glencross playing LW/C, anyone have any memories of he playing full time center, or just few shifts once in a while?

If does, could be a great addition to be slotted to the 3C spot! :yo:

Don't see the Rangers trying to get both. They'd have too many top nine wingers:

Nash
Callahan
Hagelin
Kreider
MZA
Glencross
Cammy

well keep in mind that we could be without cally and hagelin for the first 2 months. and then who knows what other injuries we might have...so that depth wouldn't be a bad thing.

and worst thing that happens is if everyone is healthy we've got depth for trading at the deadline to fill other holes (assuming of course that it works under the cap)...

of course we also aren't considering who is going back to calgary in the deal

Isnt AVs 3rd line supposed to be the two-way/defensive line?

Not sure Glencross fits that role at all, tbh.

Think he has to be on the 2nd line.

I really hope we wouldn't have to give up Miller or Kreider to get GlenX. Would do Del Zotto for Glencross.

I think Kreider/Miller for Glencross straight up is very good value for the Rangers. Glencross is signed to a bargain contract and is in the prime of his career. I would be quite upset if Del Zotto was moved straight up for Glencross because the Rangers are giving up a young, proven top 4 defender. Maybe if Calgary adds a piece like their pick from the Blues. If we can get Lazar + Glencross for MDZ, I would probably do it.

Cammalleri had a great run in 2010 for Montreal where he looked like he could be a real 35 goal poacher consistently in this league.

The last two years though, will likely have hurt his value. He's a guy I'd like to have, play on the left wing, but we will see. He has a big contract.

MZA is not going to be a long term NHL player. He will be back in Europe after this year. Calling it now.

Are you serious?

Why would you trade a possible future star for a 30 year old injury prone player who has never even had 50 points in a season?

Agreed and I really like Kreider 's potential but I would move him for Glencross. I would DEFINITELY move Miller for him.. Edit, didn't know he was 30 years old. Kreider no Miller yes

Like Tanguay the player but the contract is too long.
Would take Cammalleri (high cap hit only on last year) or Glencross for sure. They don't have many interesting players offensively.

Thank god our management isn't stupid enough to trade Kreider for Glencross. A ludicrous proposal.

This is why the rangers cant have nice things.

Everyone loves to move the youngsters for 30+ year old guys.

I edited that I wouldn't move Kreider but I would Miller. Nash and cally and Zucc on the right. Glencross hags and Kreider on the left

If you think (the rangers seem to think so) that Miller is future top 2 line center, there is absolutely no way you can move him for a 30year old player that is barely a top 6 player currently.

I don't see that in Miller. I see him much better on the wing honestly. The guy has scored 20+ goals on a **** team for how long?

Rangers have a lot of homegrown talent but this isn't Miracle u don't win a cup with all homegrown talent, even Chicago and Boston made trades and signings

Well the difference here is you think Miller has no potential to be a ~40+ point guy. Rangers seem to think he will be.

If Miller is a ~40+ point guy then theres no way you move him. If you think he never has that upside, then you move him, and you shouldnt have drafted him in the first round when there were other players with that kind of potential still there (like Saad, for example)
