I don't see Kreider getting traded. Obviously things are different a year later, but if we wouldn't include him in a Nash trade then I don't know what we'd include him in

He's a pretty legit talent, "nothing special" is selling him short. Not really interested due to the concussion problems though.

Yeah who is talented, can score goals, plays a position we have a HUGE need at, has a good contract, a right handed hard shot, and is only 25..

He's 25, is guaranteed 40-50 pts if healthy and costs 2.5m that's a pretty solid package. Now the injury concerns are a big factor but if he could be had cheap it would be worth investigating. He has some room to grow yet.

The rangers aren't one player away. So I can't see a trade scenario where Kreider is dealt.
