I thought the biggest reach for sure was Burakowsky. I'm shocked he was picked ahead of Wennberg. :amazed:

Really? I think Burakowsky is fantastic. Debated him at #13 with Erne & Horvat.

Tommy Vanelli at 44 is screaming to be picked by Minnesota. Hometown kid who'll be a Gopher next year. Defenseman to boot, fills an organizational need. Too bad I have 46.

If you pick Vanelli I will find you, and I will kill you.

Minny is weird with State players. They took Nick Leddy but traded him less than a year later. They passed on Nick Bjugstad recently too. Maybe they don't like Nicks :p:

I literally never heart of Burakowsky's name during the the pre-draft. I did watch some segments on Wennberg on TSN however.

Now someone will pick him for sure. lol. :naughty:

I like Vanelli. Thank god I pick 7 slots before the Wild.

OMGZOR IS IT A SMOKE SCREEN?#@$

With the lack of picking on time, I think the draft is starting to lose interest (as it usually does with all mock drafts) . I'm gonna have to put the draft on halt for now and I request PMs from GMs who would like to participate in a 7 round draft instead of a 2 round draft.

Also, I have decided to end the draft after the 2nd round due to lack of interest involved in a 7 round draft. I will extend the time slots for the remaining picks. Will start tomorrow, end on Friday.

We're quiting after 2 rounds? That's a shame... If we can find 5 or 6 people, that should be enough to go to 7 right? Just divide the teams among the people who are willing to play

I'd go 7, the late rounds are the most fun because I like to go off the board like crazy and hit a low-risk, high-reward homerun :naughty:

Due to lack of interest for the most part, I think it'll be difficult to run the full draft in 3 days time with only 7 interested players in returning. I'm sorry guys.
