Hmm it seems the CSS rankings are categorized by NA/European skaters, but doesn't have an overall organization of draft eligible players.

Anyone know of a full 7 round mock draft that I can use for missed picks?

ONE LAST REMINDER:

Make sure to PM the person after you to tell them it's their turn to pick.

And you could always switch a few of those guys to wing. My choices would be Larsson and Girgensons. Girgensons has some size to him, along the boards he could be huge.

Larsson already shifted over to some shifts at wing at the AHL level under the Wild affiliate. I was certainly impressed with his play. Him and Zucker stood out to me when I was catching AHL games before the lockout ended.

Yeah Larsson turns 21 next month, he and Girgensons were the two best players for the Amerks in their 3 game playoff loss.

One thing to note, I apologize for the strict timing.

I'm not going to change it however. It is your responsibility to pick before your deadline in the 20 mins you have spaced out on the draft time table. I just want to run the game as smoothly as possible without many delays.

Sorry for the inconvenience. PM me with any questions.

It`s 11:00 pm AST, and I`m done.

Provided he`s not selected:

With their third selection in the first round of 2013 NHL Entry Draft – and the 27th overall pick overall – the Columbus Blue Jackets are proud to select, from the Memorial Cup Champion Halifax Mooseheads, G Zachary Fucale:

If Fucale is selected, move the draft along quickly and select the next player on the list.

Feel like I did pretty damn well in the first round.

Lindholm @ 6
Hagg @ 22
Gauthier @ 28 (which seems like an absolute steal based on CSS's rankings)

Yeah, I was hoping Gauthier would fall a few more spots, but more than happy to have Hartman, who I thought would go early 20s.

Is it just me or did this whole thing go off an hour early? Hasn't it just gone 11pm over there? I hate timezone conversions....

ROUND 2 TIME SLOTS:

Same Rules.

  • PLEASE send a private message to the person next in line to draft. It helps the game flow along without delays.
  • Post your picks in the stickied thread only.

  • Please choose before your deadline. Even 1 minute over and I get picky. :P I just want the draft to keep going.

Fantastic job everyone. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of picks we've had on time. :) Let's hope it continues in round 2 and from there on, I'll decide if we should carry out the full draft based on interest and activeness from the participants.

I was hoping Lindholm would somehow miraculously fall to #8. :( Great pick.

I like the Gauthier pick too. I thought he'd go in the late teens and early 20's.

Myself, the Sabres picked:

8th - Sean Monahan
16th - Curtis Lazar

I watched both of these players before, in the case of Monahan, I watched him live. And I think I've expressed my obsession with Curtis Lazar the past few weeks. :D

I thought the biggest reach for sure was Burakowsky. I'm shocked he was picked ahead of Wennberg. :amazed:

Pretty uneventful first round for me. Was really hoping I'd get any other forward in the top-9, but I was stuck with Hunter.

I wasn't taking a d-man here unless Nurse dropped, and he didn't. Was really hoping Nurse went in the top 8 (which he did) and one other team selected Hunter, or any other player not a part of the standard "big 9". Would've loved Lindholm or Monahan (or anyone higher obviously).

Wennberg @22
Mantha @24
Gauthier @28

Those picks surprised me! Thought Wennberg and Mantha would be a top10 and top15 pick respectively. Gauthier is also a little late.

Damn, I was high on Hagg at 23. I also really liked Morin, at the end I got Micro Mueller.

Tommy Vanelli at 44 is screaming to be picked by Minnesota. Hometown kid who'll be a Gopher next year. Defenseman to boot, fills an organizational need. Too bad I have 46.

If you pick Vanelli I will find you, and I will kill you.
