We need a lot of things, what matters is it makes us better, not that it isn't ideal. Those are completely different things.

Why is it short term? Simmonds is same age as Pacioretty and was on pace for 27g/58pts last season and had 28g/49pts in 11/12

cause I think that gallagher will develop offensive talents that will surpass simmonds and if we want simmonds to play the way he does, hes far more likely to drop off due to injury/wearing down.

I like simmonds a whole lot, a whole lot and it might be a homer pick but I think that gallagher has a bigger upside.
