What's wrong with the daily hate parade of Tallinder? What about his play last night says he deserves to be in again?

Tallinder is Foster bad right now. A complete liability, and I feel like I'm gonna have a bowel movement every time I see him on the ice.

I thought Foster was better last season than #7 has been this season.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it did, I?
I simply offered up another topic of discussion ... that was of a more positive nature.

Tallinder isn't going to sit all season and his ass isn't getting traded if it's sitting. That's the end of it. He played like horse crap, everybody gets that now. It's beating a dead horse until the lineups are in place for Saturday's game.

how much left and at what hit for tally?

1 year and $3.375 million.

He may have to be sent away for a later round pick. If not I really believe he'll be our amnesty buyout this Summer.

Then again I still question the logic in why Pete is allowing him to play. Who the **** knows?

It's all but confirmed he'll be in Saturday. Even if Pete says ''I'm not sure if I'll go with the same lineup'' ever since we've seen the Fayne-Harrold pairing in practice, Tallinder has been in the next game.

Trade Tallinder to Buffalo. Get Myers back on track.

Buffalo is at the cap ceiling. Or at least for next year they are I think. The last thing they need is Tallinder's brutal contract on their books next year. Maybe after we buy him out this Summer they will sign him.

I would not use the amnesty buyout on a guy with 1 year left

I personally think they'll sooner buy out a guy with 1 year left than a guy with multiple years left. Just like they did with Colin White.

We have two though and I've said the whole time I think we might just use only 1. I think we could get a later round pick for Tallinder, but his salary isn't exactly great for what he's bringing.

Why would we try to "get someone back on track"? We will probably be in the same place complaining about Myers instead of Tallinder
I think they mean send Tallinder to Buffalo and get Myers back on track there. Not trade Tallinder to Buffalo to bring Myers to Jersey.

I think the consensus of our fanbase is to get Tallinder out of town, even if for a 7th rounder or even "future considerations".

At season's end, Lou has to think about buying out Anton.

He still plays a fearless game and blocks shots-which take a toll physically on him, but all other areas of his game; skating, puck handling, shooting, passing have degraded this season.
He has become another liability.

I think Sal will up his game as the season moves along, but so far he has not been the solid rock on the blueline we had expected.

This.

If we can't move him, just bite the bullet for a year and that's that. I just can't wrap my mind over the fact that Lou actually gave two contracts to two brutal d-men during the same offseason.

Close to 7.5M$ of cap space for our two worst blueliners... that right there is the opposite of what you call "good asset management".

Outside of a clear cut talent like Perry, for example, I don't want Lou to sign another UFA that didn't play for us originaly, ever again.

Unfortunately because Washington gets last change at home, they love to get Ovy out on the ice with Tallinder. Ovy is ovy, but he was making Tallinder look like Foster yesterday.

I don't know if my blood pressure can handle 3 more years of Volchenkov hatred around here. I need a new favorite player.

I still like Volchenkov...I think the lockout did nothing but bad for his game. He seems to still have the same talent he just seems sluggish and out of shape. I don't wanna amnesty him because I think he will get back to form before this is all said and done

If he magicaly get's some talent in his system, the hate will fade... but until then, he's basically throwing fuel on his own fire.

If #7 has another clunker performance, which is highly likely, and Pete has him in the lineup on Sunday, I can seriously see him getting booed by some fans that have had enough of him in the lineup.
I don't advocate doing that, in fact I would never boo a Devils player that is trying/giving 100%. But I could see a good amount of fans doing so.
