You taught me a lot man, believe me.

Damn the new fancy Bauer helmet I have... they have these helmets looking flat and sexy, and they fit your head bad. Hurts my freaking head. My old JOFA is the bowling ball kind, but it's the most comfortable helmet ever made.

Have you tried the new Warrior Crown helmet? It has a 360-degree fit system. Should be interesting.

Sorry I meant other buyers looking to get Defense could be a good thing for us since we have surplus D we need to shed to get this potential top 6 winger, though it will take a lot more then Tall or Volch.

Rereading your post you were clear on what you said, I was in the gym and misread it. And I agree with everyone on Teddy probably being trade bait along with a Top 4 defensemen.

I wonder who will be out there though, I'd start looking at the Carolina, Calgary and maybe even Detroit's roster if they slide like everyone is predicting.

I was thinking Tedenby could be trade bait if he can get some production going. I think with keeping Zajac long term Lou will be less reluctant to send Tedenby away. I think our lack of prospects is what's giving him a chance, but the truth is even without him we'll still have our first round picks of 09, 11, and 12(Matteau may not stay this year) in our lineup or pipeline at least going into next year. Henrique may as well be our 08 first round pick, so we've got plenty of younger players.

swap mps with teddy and maybe hemsky for tally. meh, why the **** not. if it sticks, it sticks. if it doesnt....half season *****es.

lol comparing Paarvji to Zubrus is like comparing MA Bergeron to Hal Gill. Paarvji isn't even as good as Bergeron...maybe it's more like Cory Murphy to Hal Gill.

Who Am I?

1. I played for 3 NHL teams.
2. I was not drafted by the Devils
3. I was an NCAA Champion in college.
4. I was traded once, and the player I was traded for would later go on to play for the Devils.
5. I've been to one Stanley Cup final, but my team did not win.

as someone who has been to Edmonton more times than I'd like... it's not just limited to HF trade proposals :shakehead

I think it was you, maybe, Getzo that said Calgary is in a desperate need for change in mentality.
It's Edmonton too.
All you need to do is see that huge grin on Tambellini's face after being handed his 3rd straight 1st overall pick.

It's an organization that treasures it's cool new toys more than it values winning.
Shame for a franchise that had such a tradition of winning attached to it, too.

But something needs to happen up there, they can't just cling to the promise of their prospects forever. At some point they have to squeeze some wins out of it.

HAH! I got it, I think. Eric Rasmussen.

No. Damn it, he wasn't an NCAA Champion, I don't think. Fits everything else though.

Edit: Oh, I guess he was. Not really sure how the NCAA works. Whatever, it's Rasmussen.

That's the name I just was thinking. I had no idea if he had won an NCAA Championship though. Just knew he played in college at least. The fact that so much of it lines up but its not him is frustrating.

(1) He played for three teams, Buffalo, Los Angeles, and New Jersey.
(2) He was drafted by Buffalo.
(3) ?
(4) He was traded to Los Angeles for Adam Mair.
(5) He went to the Cup Finals with Buffalo, but lost to Hull's skate.

Sounds close enough to me. Since your post I've been looking for ANYTHING else I could find that's feasible. I can't even get close. Gotta be it (and I have seen your edit since I responded to your original posts, so I guess that is it).
