Sounds close enough to me. Since your post I've been looking for ANYTHING else I could find that's feasible. I can't even get close. Gotta be it (and I have seen your edit since I responded to your original posts, so I guess that is it).
Well, wikipedia isn't clear on this. They didn't win everything, but they apparently won something.

They didn't win a National Championship, or a WCHA Regular Season Championship, but they did win a WCHA Tournament Championship. So I guess that qualifies as a champion in college.

(1) He played for three teams, Buffalo, Los Angeles, and New Jersey.
(2) He was drafted by Buffalo.
(3) ?
(4) He was traded to Los Angeles for Adam Mair.
(5) He went to the Cup Finals with Buffalo, but lost to Hull's skate.

He was a WCHA champion. I thought it was entire NCAA, but that was my mistake, should've specified it was only the division, but yes you are right.

Yeah, it's kind of like how the CHL works. You win the QMJHL, OHL, or WHL, and technically you are the "champion" for that. NCAA final tournament is like the Memorial Cup. If you understand the CHL moreso than the NCAA, it's a good analogy to follow.

Who Am I?

1. I've played for 6 NHL teams.
2. I was not drafted by New Jersey
3. I was drafted out of the OHL.
3. I played only 1 AHL game in my career.
4. I've been to one Stanley Cup final and won.
5. My career high in points, goals, and assists were all set with my first NHL team.
6. I am currently playing in Europe

Second time I ****ed up, took out one clue.

I just hope Lou doesn't see these injuries around the league and get paranoid about wanting to hang on to our eight defensemen.

I don't think so. Harrold and Urbom are two guys that could fill in nicely if anyone got injured. I also think Gelinas could play a few games in the NHL if he had to.

Martin Å koula-la-la ?

I think the trade market could be tough...with the short season, more teams will be in contention longer and so the "sellers" might not show up...rather, I think more teams might be looking to add depth or possibly that one player that could push them into the playoffs, but in these cases, teams might to want to move a roster guy, especially a top 6 forward. Only chance might be someone borderline with a UFA that they don't plan to resign...and I'm not convinced that's what Lou wants.

Injuries is the intangible here as we've seen LA and Detroit lose dmen to injury so they might be willing to at least inquire but if we ask for a top 6 guy, I don't think any team bites.

Thing is, I do think we have some depth with Butler and possibly signing Darche. Sure it's not the scoring forward we need but with a healthy Zajac, we could be fine as long as we stay healthy.

I think that if there is an opportunity to move a depth dman for a prospect and a 2nd round pick, we could stand to add some talent to the pool and this year's draft is a deep one. It would be nice to add three strong prospects to the ranks or perhaps even use a late second to trade up a few spots if a stud is still there. I would love to pry one of Columbus' 3 1st round picks this year....

As for the who, Greene has some value but he and Fayne have been a solid pairing that I doubt we break up so that leaves Tallinder (maybe to Detroit?) and Volchenkov (but he has a no trade). Harold doesn't have much trade value.

Ya I'm a believer that Lou won't trade a dman and will just wait for the deadline to move a late round pick for a forward. We'll see what he does after 10 games

We need a D man gone or on LTIR just to have room for another forward once Henrique gets back.

We all know Lou, "When you have time use it." Lou has the time right now. Players seem to be dropping like flies which will only make the market more better for us. Keep in mind we are 1 of the very few teams that has more Dman then needed.

I think Lou will wait to move 1 of our defenseman until he has an idea what the team will look like healthy with Henrique. Then he will figure out if he needs a true top 6 forward or someone like Poni who can fill in on the top 6 but great in a 3rd line role.

Offers will come i hope and unless he gets one he can say no to i dont expect anything to happen until after Henrique gets bacl

Will be really interesting to see what Henrique can do with Elias and presumably Clarkson when he come back. Elias and Henrique haven't really played together on a line before have they? Hopefully there'll be good chemistry between them.

I feel like Henrique should be top line LW or center the 3rd line. Tedenby if demoted will stop producing with Elias he seems to click. With Josefson and then Bernier I feel like Teddy will be less effective.

Unfortunately, I think if Larsson still hasnt cracked the lineup when Henrique gets back its between him and Teddy on who gets sent down. Probably Teddy but wouldn't be shocked if it was Larsson.

Except there's no guarantee all eight stay healthy if you keep waiting, waiting, waiting and then you can't trade anyone. And also it's time lost having only an extra goon forward and nothing down at Albany to fill in up front, what happens if we suddenly get another injury or two to the forward core?

So Bobby Mac reports that it's now more likely that the Habs TRADE Subban rather than re-sign him.
His trade value is hurt by the fact that he has no contract. What do you think the Devils have to offer the Habs?

Merrill, Tallinder, Tedenby, draft picks, Urbom, Fayne.... what would you guys give up?

Zidlicky (is his NTC void after exercising it once?) + Tallinder

Greene Fayne
Salvador Subban
Volchenkov Larsson

Wonder if that'd **** up our chemistry too much though. Oddly enough I think Tallinder is a really good depth player who's got loads of adaptability with our d corps (minus greene because that's a doom combo)

Maybe Zidlicky and a prospect.

Greene Fayne
Salvador Subban
Tallinder Volchenkov
Larsson

Await injuries.

That said, we're probably not getting him lol

Mauro Jorg, Derek Rodwell, Curtis Gedig, Cam Janssen and a 6th rounder.

If the Habs want a young d-men to compensate for the loss of Subban, I wouldn't mind moving Larsson.

They're both right hand shots, they're both young, Subban brings way more offense (something we desperatly need from our blueline) and he's also more physical then Adam.

I do believe that Adam has a bright future ahead of him but PK is proven product while Adam is still a question mark.

Ok, you guys can start flamming now ;)

Is this coming from TSN Radio?

http://www.the6thsens.com/2013-arti...deal-pk-subban-and-a-conversation-ensues.html

"From Bob McKenzie via TSN990:

"At some point the notion of trading PK Subban is something that I think the Montreal Canadiens may decide to deal with.""

That doesn't really seem like Mckenzie is saying it's more likely Subban will be traded, he's purely speculating that at some point the Habs may have to think about it. The quote actual sets out that the Habs haven't thought about trading Subban yet.

PK is not of the character type Lou chases, especially at that price tag on payroll and asset cost going the other way. Skillsets aside, it's a desperate move and with a stockpile of D already and being 2-0 the Devils are not close to desperate.
