is arod suspended 211 or so games or is it just til the end of 2014? if he loses his appeal and its a 200+ game suspension does he get suspended into mid 2015?
 
Jeter is back on the DL.. how long until the Yankees realize he needs to be shut down for this lost season? (see teixiera)
 
Either way you slice it the Yankees will get out of paying Arod his money next season in 2014. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the gong show as a Yankees fan, this year was a waste. If they somehow come back and get a wild card spot and win the World Series, I'm going to laugh so hard. Would love to see Selig's reaction.

Pettitte and Hughes both will be gone (and should), how much worse could Pineda/Phelps (if healthy) be?

Yankees have alot of money coming off the books, though not much on the UFA market at all to replace it. I like that pitching I believe, especially if this year is just an aberration for CC

Yeah that's why I don't have any FAs listed. Cano is the biggest one. Then Ellsbury. No way they're signing Ellsbury to a big contract.

I'm sure some fans will complain of not spending money again. but there's nothing out there this Winter. Teams starting to lock up their star players.

I wouldn't mind Ellsbury, but he's gonna get a pretty huge deal IMO, don't want to keep giving out long term deals
 
can someone please explain to me why Girardi is not playing Romine everyday? we know what we have in Stewart which is not much. This team is not going anywhere, see what we have with him for next year

it was just a joke anyway about the yankees age requirement. Choo's contract will be shorter and for less than Ellsbury's (Boras).. If the contracts were even though, I'd take ellsbury in a heartbeat over Choo
