hahahahaah do you actually think the first batch of players you mentioned there don't deserve to be in the hall of fame?? (outside of Braun)

its a JOKE, a total JOKE that Clemens, Piazza and Bonds didn't get in early this year.
 
Im so ready for NFL and hockey.. even after Arod is suspended, the Yankees will still be asked a million questions about him and MLB will still be around PEDs. so tired of all the drama

He just flat out has no game at all.

I am so sick of watching him get his butt kicked over and over again and he changes NOTHING.

Simply cannot subject my children to this any longer.
 
Kay was just talking Hughes contract.
His QO is 14 million
Or get a #1 draft pick if someone signs him.

I say he may be screwed.
 
You would need to inhale a lot of crack smoke to QO or offer him a contract.

I say he ends up back with the Yankees on the cheap or someone has a boner and thinks he can be fixed.

Sorry. But this is three seasons in a row that he cannot perform.
He wont be poor no matter the outcome.
 
Cano is not having his best season either.. Hes a very good player, but it's evident hes not a franchise building player. Get the hell out of here with that 200m ********. Going off what Pedroia got (14M+ per), Cano should get about 18 per

Yankees should have sold last week. Stupid ****ing management, the teams going nowhere it's time to rebuild and blow it up. Cano, Granderson, Gardner, Ichiro, Hughes, Joba. They'll never do it because people won't show up, guess what no one does already because you over charge!

why Gardner? hes cheap and productive.. This season has been dead from the get go, look at the lineups we have had all year lol

had A-Rod taken responsibility/not blamed others (i.e. yanks), many believe Selig might have signed off on ~150 games


A-Rod suspension will indeed run thru 2014 (tho if he loses an appeal, it could leak into '15 to keep it to 214 games)


if a-rod loses an appeal, arbitrator could extend ban into 2015 so it's still the same 214 games. so a-rod wont save $.


no shock Selig wont invoke "best interests" clause to bench A-Rod. MLB appreciates union cooperation to get drugs out.


#yankees have been told A-Rod will be suspended tomorrow. if he appeals, he can play.
 
Smart for Arod to appeal, get all 28 million this year. Would lose 25 million for being suspended all of 2014. "Only" makes 21 million in 2015.
 
Arod would actually make 31M. a 6M bonus would kick in with 13 HRs which would pass Mays on the all time list
 
ok here is what I don't get... Selig is going to suspend Alex just for PEDs and not using the "best interest of the game" clause correct?.. So judging by that not only can Arod appeal any suspension, how the HELL does Selig have any right to make a 200 game or more suspension when according to the CBA its 50 games for a failed test and 100 games for a 2nd. seeing as Arod has never failed a test how the hell does Selig think he can get 200 games against Arod without invoking that clause?

Bagwell is just too obvious for me. He was teammates with Ken Caminiti and Luis Gonzales -- one a reputed and admitted steroid user, the other as good as case as anybody no matter how Lance Armstrong-style defiant he has been.

I would put in Larry Walker and Edgar before I put in any of the mid-90s home run hitters.

Like Lundsanity said Edgar Martinez played with A-Rod so you punish Bagwell for playing with Caminiti and Gonzo but you don't punish Edgar Martinez.

Would you have Biggio in HOF?
