If it's a stupid game, than why do you keep harping on about luck? You complain about me getting agitated and then get agitated yourself. Cool story, pot.

Because I enjoy discussion and find your brutal immaturity very amusing. Everything on this Earth can be considered stupid by one person or another but we all find enjoyment. I just don't take myself so seriously that I can't admit it. I get both amused and aggravated by your whining it has nothing to do with the game it's the fact that you are the same as most people. Wholly immature, take yourself way too seriously and can't handle anybody bringing your precious team down a peg. God forbid we attribute ANNNNYTHING to luck it's an affront to football for us to do that! How dare we!?

It's both amusing and sad because so many grown adults do it and they're 100% serious

Oh, boy. This is some straight up Kershaw style numbers ****. Really? You are going to point to stats to try and say Romo is clutch (or at least isn't "not clutch")? Give me a break, man. Anyone who watches Dallas on the regular (and I generally watch just about every Dallas game during the season) knows Romo is just not a clutch player.

I don't even know what to say about this other than

No. The "Anyone who watches..." type argument is just what one uses when almost every single stat proves them wrong and they have nothing to fall back on except their opinion.

And, as there is no such skill as "being clutch" I am certainly not going to try to prove it.

Which is why luck is only a small factor. Skill and general play will defeat luck most nights. But keep on saying it was all luck. It's cute, RB. The funny thing is you refuse to even acknowledge anything that doesn't fit your distorted narrative.

It's not a small factor. That's the purpose of playing long seasons in sports and having playoff series as opposed to one game when possible. To try and minimize the effect luck has on a season by trying to have a larger sample of games played as opposed to just one. In any given game it plays a decently sized role (I think in general more so in hockey than baseball than football than basketball) but long term it's lessened.

Once again you are playing the role of pot without even realizing it. I love how you are doing the same exact thing you are whining about me doing and don't even realize it.

I have plenty of interceptions and blown chances to fall back on. All you have are some stats. Again, it's obvious to anyone who watches the game that Romo is not a clutch player. You can even tell it when he is making plays. The guy does not have the composure in a close game in the 4th quarter. He never has. Some guys just don't have it.

Believe what you want. I'm not even a Romo hater. I think the guy is tough as nails and I really like his general attitude. However, he's just not a clutch player.

Why is this so difficult for you to understand? I was rooting for both -- but would always root for the Rangers when they played the Devils. I don't know what you can't grasp about that. Do I need to explain it any further?

because its the rangers and the devils. not the rangers and the ducks.

its like rooting for the yankees and the red sox

It doesn't matter if I am. Am I wrong about you> What is your motivation in this discussion? Why so upset?

YOUR opinion about a simple game is WRROOOONG. It's laughable, maaaaaan! They didn't need any luck b/c they're the greatest! Bah! Discredit you! You discredit yourself! Hmmph! Go back to hockey you just don't know football!

And you can't see why I'm raising my eyebrows at you?

Hey, I had season tickets as a kid. As a kid, you don't generally have abject hate towards a sports team. I've never considered the Devils to be the "Red Sox" to our Rangers, anyway. That's the Islanders. The Devils, to me, would be more like how Yankees fans must feel about the Mets.

Just a reminder, folks, that this thread isn't necessary to have, on our part. There's a football forum here, on page two. Keep that in mind before attacking each other in this thread if you wish to continue football talk with your fellow Ranger fans.

If people act up, they're going to be banned from this thread on a permanent basis. Some of you have been banned from here before (you know who you are), and if you act obnoxious again, it will be your last time. Don't ruin this thread for everyone else.

Any of you guys using Gamepass?

In NHL Gamecenter you can change feeds to get the broadcast you want. Now Gamepass has the same feature, but it only changes the audio feed, while keeping the same video. This messes up the audio/video sync and the announcers are either behind or ahead of the play.

Anyone know a fix or workaround for this?

That first hit the Bucs got flagged for was a terrible call IMHO. The second one was a bit closer to what I think the NFL wants to keep out of the game.

Flipping back and forth between Jets/Bills right now. Can't wait for G-men later :yo:

Good luck, Jets fans :)

I happily take that 1st half as a jets fan.

Wild game. What a dumb play by that Bucaneer. Game was sealed.

GINO!!!

haha. in all seriousness, David should be benched for the next game. Absolutely brutal play and singlehandedly cost his team the game.
