freeman is lucky foles and barkley set the all time worst QB performance yesterday because it would be his record alone for his performance tonight.

Oh man, Peyton Hillis is working it on some of these plays tonight.

A few bright spots to take away from this game for the Giants tonight... and I mean a few.

frazier basically conceded victory in this game by staying with freeman. freeman clearly doesnt know the playbook and is not on the same page as his WR at all.

Im glad the giants won finally BUT the vikings are terrible. I mean a average college team might be able to beat them lol

Rumor has it that Jets are dangling a couple of picks for Josh Gordon.

4th and 7th? Can't imagine more than that.

We have extra picks coming this year. Not a high cost.

Gordon could be a top 10 talent too. Just can't have slip ups. Move would be great.

Team would be legit this year if/when Santonio comes back too.

This move would set up the future too. Santonio would be cut, saving about 10 mill. Cromartie likely cut at end too for same amount. Sanchez another 8. Goodson another 2. That's 30 mill in just those 4 guys.

Rumor is a team is offering a high pick and a roster player. I don't see how a 4th gets it done.

Eli needs to restructure
Tuck cut
Rolle cut
Baas cut
Webster cut
Diel cut
Snee cut

and who ever else needs to go..free up money for FA

Disagree with the bolded. I don't see why they coudn't all restructure. Rolle still plays at a decently high level, Baas is likely better than anything we can get in FA, and Webster could be worth the money as a slot/nickel/dime CB if he restructures.

Giants looked embarrassingly bad, still somehow managed a win and hurt their draft position, but the Vikings looked worst and my fantasy team suffered for it.

Worst case scenario.

awful performance even in a win... anyway, the dead weight needs to be cut this offseason and the Giants will have money to once again be a good team to fix the holes along with the draft

New rumors coming out saying Gordon to the Jets is close. Some (albeit fishy) sources say it's a 3rd and a 5th with the Jets also looking to acquire TJ Ward.

Not a fan. Too much risk to give up for a player one blunt away from a 12 month suspension. Screams Tannenbaum.

and @ Jon, I think he meant that they have an offer of a high draft pick, and an offer of a roster player.

Jets Bengals should be a close game next week...wouldn't surprise me if my Bengals cough this one up

Jets are fantastic against the run, and the bengals struggle offensively when they cant run the ball. However, their receivers/TEs are talented enough that they're always a threat.

Bengals D is championship quality. They have as good of a defensive line as there is the in NFL and the LB corps led by Vontaze Burfict, who leads the NFL in tackles, has been playing very well. However, the Bengals are notriously terrible against rookie QB's and they just lost their best CB for the season, so all bets are off.

I think this is will be a close one that comes down to the final minutes, and likely decided by a field goal or less.

The Jets will have a boatload of picks in the middle rounds with the compensatory picks they'll be due. A third and a fifth for a player of Gordon's potential is absolutely worth it in my eyes, even with his suspension issues. I'd do that deal every day of the week.

Schefter agrees with Tirico.

When the Cleveland Browns traded away running back Trent Richardson, many believed it would be the beginning of a fire sale that would eventually include a deal to send away wide receiver Josh Gordon. With the trade deadline just a week away (Oct. 29 at 4 p.m. ET), Gordon remains on the roster, but it's not for a lack of offers, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reports at least three teams have standing offers for the second-year receiver, including two offers that include a high draft pick and a player."
