The worst part about all this is that the coordinators are going to get free passes because of the injuries.
3rd interception this quarter, Jesus Eli. Is it too early in the season to see what Nassib can do?
There definitely will be changes (as well it should be) to the staff. Anytime a team severely under- performs, coaches should be looked at.
People think it's great that Gilbride has been here for 10 years. Yes, on the surface. but teams after a while, know your tendencies. Also, he has not shown an ability to adapt.
Even Brady, has had different OC's his 13 years with the Pats.
Sometimes change is good.
u just dont sit a player like manning. u dont sit 10 year veteran qbs, who has won 2 superbowls in the past 6 years and will likely be here for another 5+ years.
Seems to me that a lot of the interceptions come from miscommunication with the WRs, i.e. they will stop their route, run the wrong route, or fail to adjust their route at the LOS when an audible is called. I don't know who is responsible for this, whether it be Gilbride, Eli, or the WRs themselves, but you would think that after several years of being together they'd have it sorted out.
The only one that wasn't really partially Eli's fault was the 3rd one. The other two were mostly on him.
Really? The third one is the only one I put on Eli.
First one he has his face being ripped in the opposite direction, and then the ball is deflected at the line (by his own player, admittedly). Second one is an amazing play by the Eagle defender and a terrible commitment to the ball from Cruz. Third one is on Eli for sure.
Eli was mostly terrible today though, so I'm not trying to really stick up for him, and plan on exiting the thread for now after this post anyway.
Officiating handed the game to the Eagles today. Even with the missed safety call on Wilson early, the refs were garbage in the Eagles favor all night, and really turned the tide of the game not overturning the obvious incomplete pass that would have made it fourth down, and missing the hands to the face on Eli on the interception. ****ing brutal.
This team, man... wow.
Cant blame teh refs too much. I mean like you said they waved off that safety call. The only bad call was on that first interception where eli got his face ripped off.Really? The third one is the only one I put on Eli.

11 weeks of pointless games to watch is sort of a unique experience.
How are you going to pay Nicks, Cruz, and JPP when the core of the team is so fatally flawed...
As a jets fans it depend on what we would have to give up. Nicks is very talented but injury prone and acan be a headache sometimes. We already have that in HolmesMaybe we can trade Nicks to the Jets. Hell, he'd be a good fit there moving forward, anyway.
284 yards rushing for the Giants this season.
And i'm one who is the first to say running the ball isn't half as important as it was in years past in the NFL, but that is just a pathetic total.
Eli turns into a turnover machine when he has to put the ball up 40+ attempts a game.
I know Bradshaw is having neck problems, but man, i did not think him moving on would have affected this team so much.
