Lauren Silberman, a 28-year-old MIT graduate who said she is a former club soccer player at Wisconsin, managed to send her two kicks just 14 and 16 yards — both laughable distances — before exiting in tears with what she said was an aggravated quadriceps injury.

I give her credit for trying but Jesus Christ my wife can kick further than 14 yards and she's a friggin baker.

Woody sure loves his side shows.

Absolutely loved Martellus. :(

Barden can go walk. I never liked him.

I still think he could have been more beneficial to us this season than Nicks playing injured. I think Coughlin admitted that he gaffed on that one; not necessarily playing Barden over Nicks but any other receiver aside from Nicks.

Every year the Giants seem to be ok at TE.

Eli makes those TE's.

Agreed 100%. I don't doubt the teams ability to produce another productive TE.

It's just that none of them will have the awesome personality that was The Black Unicorn. Oh well.

all about money bro..TE is way down on the list..too many other key guys need new contracts..strictly a numbers game.

i read an article on bleacher that he liked the giants and was willing to take a "hometown discount" to stay.

oh well it is true that Eli makes any TE look good but i really liked the Black Unicorn.

I liked Martellus, but I figured after all his complaining on Twitter he'd be going to Tampa. Oh well, good luck TBU.

Here's hoping the JPP of TE's according to JR gets some burn this year.

Im sure Woody hates all the national press the story received.

Why would Woody care? Look i know the "in" thing to do is bash the Jets for everything but the Jets had NOTHING to do with this league sponsored regional scouting combine. If this was a private workout conducted by the Jets you'd have a point. Sadly for you it was an NFL event.

I never said Woody organized it. I just said that I'm sure he likes the attention. You cant dent that he's always been obsessed with owning the headlines.

I always defend the Jets. I have no axe to grind.

According to PFC...

NYG CB Corey Webster takes pay cut, will remain w/Giants in '13, the final yr of his contract. Salary goes from $7.25 million to $4 million.

Baas and Webster restructured their deals leaving the Giants with about 9 million in cap room, and apparently the Giants and Jets were among 4 teams that have contacted Charles Woodson's people.

Not sure how I feel about Woodson. The backfield has trouble staying healthy enough as it is.

In college we used to fool around practicing field goals once in awhile, I was able to hit from 40, just barely with a holder but the trajectory was low, its a lot different with 11 men trying to block it.
