This is my first year as a STH, and I am going to have a bunch of games for sale during the season. Still sorting out which future games, but for starters I have:

Oct 31 vs. BUF
Nov 2 vs. Car
Nov 4 vs. ANA
Nov 10 vs FLA

I have 2 seats which are Gallery Row 2, Sec 202. Selling for face ($82) plus paypal fees which can be waived if the $ is sent as a gift.

I also still have a pair to the home opener (Oct 28 vs MTL) I picked up during the pre-sale, Sec 226, Row 13, Seats 3 and 4, available. Just looking to recoup my cost of $318.10 for the pair.

Don't work for them, just have been using it a lot. I've been bidding closer to the average ticket retail. I wouldn't recommend the site for cheap tickets, just if it's a game you want to go to.

Usually figure out what I'm willing to pay, then add the discount on top of it, to put in a higher bid. If they're saying average ticket price is $130, and you're putting in $80, more than likely it won't go through.

I've bought premium games (pens and devils) for $80 a ticket for 200s within the first 5 rows.

$118/ticket season opener (section 221, row 4)
$110/ticket season closer (section 112, row 18)


Not discount, but comparable to second hand market pricing, better than TM and Stubhub.

What do you consider reasonable? I've got seats available in Row 2 of the upper bowl on the good end for $200/ticket.

From my experience in past home openers i've gotten 300 center ice tickets for about $90-100 per ticket. I can't find such a thing this year

From my experience in being a STH for 8 years is that the Home Opener goes for about 2 and a half face. They have played Toronto,Ottawa,Chicago so it doesn,t have to be a strong opponent.

Dunno, I suppose i was just lucky then. I got tix vs the canadian ones fairly easy and we're playing the habs this year but i have had no luck thus far. Aren't both of you STH's? Have either of you dealt with front page tickets at all?

I got tix in 224 for the home opener last year for 90. Everyone else was selling that section for 180+. Second I saw that one on stubhub I snapped it up.

In the past before I got season tix I def paid more than double face for the home opener but this year, prices seem to be down... Maybe I'm just remembering wrong, but you can find decent mid row 200s for 130ish on ticketsnow. I can't give my extra set away for my cost of $160 and last year I would have happily paid that compared to what I eventually spent.
