If AV likes what he sees I'd think it's highly likely that we see some callups probably after tomorrow's game; the current situation of 5-7 4th liners isn't going to work for the long run (at least until we have Hagelin back and can have a somewhat complete top 6), I think AV realizes this, and is hoping to see something in them tonight that makes it worth calling them up.

Dodero is on an AHL deal. He's still worth taking a look at, but keep in mind he's not Rangers property.

Marcou is 3-4 years older than the other guys I listed. Do you really think he has any upside at this point? Not being sarcastic, genuinely interested.
Friends from Long Island only 1 year older the Connor Allen who he played with at Umass .So you never know what pans out had good year in ECHL ALL Star and can play

Biron has TV jobs waiting for him. Steve Simmons tweeted that on Tuesday night. He will be very good on TV. His spots with Jim Cerny were really good. He can speak english and french. Goalies always make good broadcasters.

It would be great if he could replace one of the knuckleheads on the broadcast crew in Buffalo.

Star spangled banner played by a real "kid band"

I love it!

Asham is skating hard, draws a penalty.

1-1 after 1. I tuned in about halfway through, but pretty consistent with past games - playing mostly
in the Monarchs' zone. The top line looks very good. Pack goal was scored by Allen from Kreider and Kristo, although Kristo may have tipped his point shot from in front.

So, is there anywhere to find a stream of this game? I tried all the sites I usually use for out of market NHL games, but no AHL coverage. I'm absolutely not going to pay money to watch minor league hockey so if no one mentions AHL Live that'd be great.

What i like about Kreider so far is that even when he hanst scored goals he has been very involved in the action and created oppurtunities for his team. I expect him to be up by the en of the month or early November

Really sounds like Kreider has been doing everything as well as possible down there, taking advantage of yet another trip down to the AHL. Let's just hope that when he gets his next shot with the big club, he can stick with it. Good to see AV down watching in Hartford too, really hands on.

You'll find a free stream of a Hartford game maybe twice per year. If you want to watch, your only choices are AHL Live or Hockey Streams. Sorry bud.

Pack win again, 4-3 in the shootout. Kristo, Hrivik and Johnson with the goals. Pack were down 3-1 entering the third period.

Wolfpack are incredibly fun to watch right now. Going to the game in Albany next friday - pumped.

Does Kristo look ready for the NHL? His stats look very good and he's been flying under the radar since he's new to our system.

So, as promised, here's my little writeup on last night's Greenville game I went to....

Dodero
Didn't play. Don't know why.

Marcou
Looked decent. Didn't make any glaring mistakes, and his outlet passes looked good. Smooth skater, but needs to get faster. Got beat to the outside once.

Nicholls
Didn't score, but did just about everything else. Was out there on the PK and PP, and looked really good with the puck on his stick. Shifty and strong on his edges. I came away from this game more impressed with him than I thought I would be. The puck really seems to find him, he was very involved in the play.

Noreau
Skating needs work. Took himself out of position once or twice to try and make a big hit. He kept getting hung out to dry by his defense partner with 2 on 1s, so it was hard to gauge his play. Always makes the simple play and gets the puck off his stick ASAP.

St. Croix
His skill is obvious, but he needs to work on getting himself more involved in the play. It seemed like he was waiting on his linemates to get him the puck, instead of taking the initiative himself. With that being said, he still had a very good game, especially when you factor in that it was his first pro game. He got some PP time, but no PK time, which is to be expected. His goal came driving the net and getting a cross ice pass at the netmouth and banging it in. Showed good battle against the dman to get there. On his assist, he rushed the puck up the ice on a 2v2, stickhandled to the high slot, backing off the d, then drop passed to his teammate, who scored on a quick snapper. Also, he played all 3 forward positions throughout the course of the game. Good first pro game for him, but I would like to see more willingness to work along the boards.

Prospect does well in AHL: They have to be called up within the next month! They're tearing it up there, surely that production will translate immediately!

Prospect is called up, struggles in NHL: Oh my god, they are clearly not ready for the NHL! Why didn't they just leave them in the AHL to get big minutes!? Such awful asset management!

Kreider, Kristo and co. should stay in the AHL for more than 3 weeks barring injuries.

Kreider is further along than kristo is according to many reports. I dont think they intended to leave kreider in the AHL longer than he needed to be. So far he is using all his tools teh right way and the rangers could use him soon. So by the end of the month is he keeps playing the way he has been there is no reason to keep in Hartford longer than necessary
