Thank goodness. Farewell, Wade.
The way I read lebrun's tweet was prior to 2013-2014...still though
Thank goodness. Farewell, Wade.
Let's wait and see what the Union thinks of this one. It all seems great until the other side comes out and goes "wow, we are WAY off"
"The hill we will die on" - my buttocks
- Compliance buyout - check
- Term limit = 6/7 should be doable
- % variance 5% => 10% check
- 10 year deal - gotta sign to that
Time to do this!
I wonder if this is truly their "best offer".. how many best offers have they given out now?
Well, to say this, they've certainly brought more offers to the table than the NHLPA has.
Compliance buyout would be wonderful! So scared that Redden's contract would count. You could say goodbye to McD, Steps, and DZ if it does.
I'm worried we're gonna have to say goodbye to McD, Steps, or DZ anyway.
Even with Redden getting bought out, aren't we up against the cap? How are we gonna resign DZ??

Gaborik might be the casualty.![]()
It's an absolute joke that the teams that can support themselves are the ones that'll suffer under this new CBA.
Unlike a lot of people i'm all for hockey in Florida and NC and whatnot, but when we're gonna have to get rid of our 40 goal scorer, and probably more, because they can't afford to spend, then that is ****ing garbage.
Gonna be tough. LeBrun tweeted that the owners still want a $60 mil cap in the 13/14 season.
Probably going to have to say goodbye to Gaborik.
Bruce Garrioch @SunGarrioch
My sources say owners have privately informed Bettman cancelling the season is not an acceptable option.
