8 players from LJK drafted this year. I will be shocked if more than 1 is drafted next year. 09s in London is a very weak age group.

The kid has been strong since Atom - even has some Brick highlights that are eye opening. His floor would be top 15 IMO. Ceiling would be as high as top 5 if he can continually perform on the big stages this year. He put up some big points at the OHFs but I would personally say he is more of a 200ft pass first forward than an all-out goal scorer. That SCP team runs through him and they are a top team in the province.

was in Ottawa visiting for long weekend took in Quebec vs HEO games U15. Not sure what ottawa was thinking Quebec brought allstar provincial teams so wasnt real competitive.

Is cannon Thibodeau able to get drafted in 2025? Or because of the late birthday is he a 2026? Little confused
Any player born in 2009 is eligible for the 2025 OHL draft. Late year birth dates only apply to the NHL draft.
Add Scarpelli, Damico and Underhill from Halton U16
also kids from Rangers U16, and Niagara U16 teams

remember the one that caused all the fuss in november, didnt turn out well (mind you im not sure that it would have mattered). just stay calm dads, dont over post, dont over promote, its doesnt matter what is said here, its a long year, your son will be watched, regardless if hes mentioned her or not.
also, parents are the definition of not objective, you think your kid is better then he is, sorry, its true.

Cunha went undrafted because of the over abundance of posts made on HF by his father?
I don’t think so, he’s small and a bad skater, sure didn’t help thou, reputation was made. if someone liked him there’s a chance the dad scared them off, kids not so good that teams would ignore that
The McGregor Kid lit up the Draft Day tourney and won it all for Ottawa District. The top 2 GTA teams were stacked again, no result? SCTA had some suspect picks for D, hurt their chances, couldn't stay in games. Alliance kids still look promising.

Yes it is. Many top players in the age group participate in this league.
Prodigy games are posted on a scouting service called 'Rinknet' that allows credible team personnel to put in legitimate game/scoring reports on players if they so choose
well, what are you looking to get out of it? i wouldnt say its going to help your draft stock or anything, no summer league is gonna do that.
flamebird probably knows better then me if the quality of the league is good, so if your just looking for ice, his opinion is probably smart/knowledgable.
Anybody get down to the Chowder Cup this past weekend? There were some good Quebec and American teams playing.
