Buffalo lines were the following for most of last night:

9 Steve Ott - 19 Cody Hodgson - 29 Jason Pominville ("C")
82 Marcus Foligno - 63 Tyler Ennis - 42 Nathan Gerbe
36 Patrick Kaleta - 12 Kevin Porter - 65 Brian Flynn
55 Jochen Hecht - 25 Mikhail Grigorenko - 21 Drew Stafford ("A")

10 Christian Ehrhoff - 57 Tyler Myers
24 Robyn Regehr - 44 Andrej Sekera
27 Adam Pardy - 6 Mike Weber

30 Ryan Miller
1 Jhonas Enroth

Rolston said he’s hopeful Vanek (UBI; 1 game) will be ready for tonight’s game, so he's probably a game-time decision .. if Vanek draws back in, he's obviously LW1 with Ott moving to LW2 and Foligno to LW3 .. Kaleta would switch back to his strong-side as RW3 in this scenario and Flynn would become the favorite to be scratched .. also, no confirmation yet on a starting goaltender, but stats favor Miller, as he's 5-0-1 with a 1.64 GAA in his last six trips to MSG.

Buffalo's PP is in a rut though, a 3-for-its-last-54 rut .. not much to worry about there.
they'll just end up scoring on our pps

4-0 Rangers. Nash with a natural hatty, gabby gets the 4th, Richards has 4 assists, Stall gets in a fight

It's really not right to look past any team in the NHL. Surely, there are "must wins" but to say this will be easy is just wrong I think.

With that said, winning this game tonight would make me extra happy, more happy than I normally get after Rangers wins. Of course the opposite is also true, if we lose this game I'll probably jump out my window,

LGR

Do your worst to their defense, Ricky.

No way in Hell we are losing thin one. LGR!

Respect your opponent bro. Cant tell you how many times Ive heard or seen a Ranger fan say the exact same thing you just said and the Rangers lose and then they threaten to never watch the Rangers again. This is the NHL. Any body can beat anybody with hard work and a couple of bounces.

This. Played baseball my entire life, far and away the most superstitious sport. But unless you're the captain of an NHL team and one of the greatest players to ever play the game of hockey, never call for a 100% win

Another thing to correlate "Humble Nash" to with his I-need-more-shots attitude:

He's four games behind the rest of our players, and still has the most shots on the team :handclap:

Big SO win for Sabres last night versus Devils without Vanek, they must coming into this one with some boosted confidence. So, let's break them down!

haha...awesome, I have been thinking of the scene for a week or so now!

Looks like Eminger in, Gilroy out.

I don't like that, I thought Eminger was physical the last couple games but wasn't used in the third of the last game where as Gilroy has been used in the third. Maybe we are showcasing Eminger lol

Gilroy still battling the flu probably.

Sure hope so cause gilroy actually looked good on the PP as well. He has played well this season.

I think he knew he had to improve, after signing with us again. that sort of popped out at me. I thought he could do pretty well, and maybe he's showing it. Hope he feels better, whatever is keeping him from playing.

Well that puts to rest any Gilroy sickness rumors. Maybe they're trying something different. Anyway, the Sabres are most likely feeling pretty good right now, underestimating them wouldn't be the best option but that goes for any team.
