I had a lot of shots blocked. I need to do a better job of getting them through.
The chances were there again. They’ve been there all year so I’ve got to bear down and just try to bury them.
- Rick Nash

We know how good we can be. It’s just a matter of putting a full 60 minutes together.
We’ve had spurts of it but I think that 1st period was definitely our identity and what we try to create here and how we have to play.
- Ryan Callahan

Nash was himself tonight. He, McDonagh and Del Zotto are the three main cogs.
Nash immediately had an impact as far as offensive energy and just doing some good things.
He played really well. He’s such a good one-on-one player with his range and his reach.
- John Tortorella

Heads Up: The GDT is work in progress.

Sabres did not look good against NJ today, even though they won. If the Rangers play like they did against Tampa, they'll win. Take advantage of the Sabres defense. Everyone over there has been plain BAD this season, including Myers.

I have two extra tickets to this game in section 104. PM me if you guys want them for face value.

- Rick Nash

Gets 12 shots

Says he should have had more and needs to be better

BOSS

TB 2.0

Nash hat trick.
Gaborik hat trick.
Hank SO.

Win 6-0.

Humble brag worthy.

Gonna need our boys to show up on offense.

In other words, I'm sorry, but you're gonna need to carry the offense, Ricky.

What's the story with your new av meme?

Plenty of people here were using that meme as an avatar when the Rangers were sucking, and then mods said it's against forum rules because it shows blood. Then -31- removed the knife and blood and made him hold a kitten. Right after that, it took off.

It was -31-

Recognize.

See this is where we blow it. We have a great game and then go back to sucking wind. Let's not do that this time.

Buffalo lines were the following for most of last night:

9 Steve Ott - 19 Cody Hodgson - 29 Jason Pominville ("C")
82 Marcus Foligno - 63 Tyler Ennis - 42 Nathan Gerbe
36 Patrick Kaleta - 12 Kevin Porter - 65 Brian Flynn
55 Jochen Hecht - 25 Mikhail Grigorenko - 21 Drew Stafford ("A")

10 Christian Ehrhoff - 57 Tyler Myers
24 Robyn Regehr - 44 Andrej Sekera
27 Adam Pardy - 6 Mike Weber

30 Ryan Miller
1 Jhonas Enroth

is TV back?
Rolston said he’s hopeful Vanek (UBI; 1 game) will be ready for tonight’s game, so he's probably a game-time decision .. if Vanek draws back in, he's obviously LW1 with Ott moving to LW2 and Foligno to LW3 .. Kaleta would switch back to his strong-side as RW3 in this scenario and Flynn would become the favorite to be scratched .. also, no confirmation yet on a starting goaltender, but stats favor Miller, as he's 5-0-1 with a 1.64 GAA in his last six trips to MSG.

Must stop Vanek and stay out of the box
Buffalo's PP is in a rut though, a 3-for-its-last-54 rut .. not much to worry about there.
