Terrible period. Seems like we’re starting to spiral again. Lots of emotion but not being channeled well. Can’t sustain any sort of pressure, bad penalties, running around in our own end.
They’re sick and they don’t have any where NEAR the dynamic talent to make a difference unless they’re revving at 100%

Think that flu bug has run its course. A lot of the guys were out on the town the last weekend.
Out on the town? Man, I don't care if professional athletes are "human" and have "rights", all the 8 mil players need to be chained up in the basement and beaten with phone books until they start scoring again

I thought we carried the play most of the period 5v5 until that last late flurry by Detroit against our 4th line and 3rd pair out at the same time for some reason against their top line.

Respect your opinion mate but I saw a team that couldn’t forecheck, sustain zone time, exit their zone, had a horrendous PK, last on almost all free pucks.

We didn’t have a real scoring chance that period.

We got shots off to start the game but overall it was not quality shots and we didn’t generate any momentum at any point.

You play 3 periods like this you lose the game 100% of the time.

Forsberg could literally do nothing on that goal.

What has he done that’s killing this game?
I know and understand that but Nhl Goalie saves those sometimes and it makes huge differencein game. In Pk your goalie has to be your best player. Forsberg need a game where he makes key saves at the right moment.

A cross crease pass 5 feet from the net to Dylan Larkin goes in on Ullmark.

When I say no chance I mean this puck goes in almost certainly unless the player doesn’t hit the net or shoots directly on the goalie…. And Dylan Larkin can score goals.

I'm super invested in dropped beer guy.

Can we get a follow up in a week to see how many diseases he's accumulated from drinking that beer off the floor?
Ok, 5 second rule applies here, so it is technically imposslble to catch anything! Besides, it's beer, aka nectar of the gods, so one would offend them to just let that all spill out. Not suggesting he should lick spillage off the floor, but...

Whatever mojo they were playing with up until like 4 games ago is gone.

Also, the PK is atrocious and even a bunch of beer leaguers could figure out how to score on it, especially with Forsberg in net.

I know this is an odd concept, but you need to score to win hockey games
Ya, this! Absolutely zero cohesive offense happening. Blast the puck in with ineffective forecheck and watch them come back the other way. Something is seriously wrong. Crappy PK and zero offense doesn't often product positive results!

Well, I was just talking 5v5, the PK wasn't good, not that we should have even been on it, but Jensen was way too passive and it cost us on the first goal

5v5 though, we had good net front presence that resulted in a couple deflections in front of Lyon, and weren't giving up much aside from the aforementioned but when we inexplicably had the 4th line and 3rd pair out together
