It's not a local lockout. DirectTV's Philly market extends further north than it should. I always get Phillies games blacked out on ESPN but never thought much of it

All the blue liners were questionable. Zids had 2 or 3 give-aways and a bad penalty. Tally..worst 2-0 period ever.

I'll take it. Devils have to win those board battles or figure out another way to breakout.

Looking forward to Larsson, Gelinas, and Merrill patrolling the backline. Only questions is do they have the physical play type makeup for a game like this. It looks very rough in the corners tonight.

The forecheck also needs to be better about containing their breakout. Flyers are having no trouble bringing the puck out of their zone.

Larsson and Gelinas do have the physical build for this. Especially Gelinas, he's a monster. Merrill is a positional defenceman, but put him with Larsson and he will be fine.
