I wanna look league wide at #5-#6 D's and see where Mcquaid measures up...to me he is just the epitome of what you want in depth D.

Stanley Cup winner/lots of playoff experience
Plays a hard, honest stay at home game
Physical, can wipe guys out in the corners, intimidating, plays clean
Willing to stand up and fight...very good fighter at that
Kills penalties
Warrior, puts body on the line, blocks, will do whatever it takes

That's like..exactly what you want in a #5 D. I wonder how he measures up looking at other teams #5...I think he is so underrated for what he brings and maybe people dont think about depth D all that much..but he is a very important guy on this team.

cons: injury prone...skating...he has really cut down on mental mistakes.

I feel pretty much the same about Kevin Miller, as well. I think he gets a lot of undeserved crap. I love the guy and not afraid to say it.....lol
