I don't want it to seem like I came for an argument but did it really seem to you that "strength/conditioning" was the issue last year? I mean to me one of his best assets has always been his hockey sense and that seemed (IMO) to be the thing he was lacking most last season. To be honest I haven't seen enough of him this season to pass informed judgement so I'll have to wait a few more games to say whether or not I think that's been fixed.

Very Good first period. The type of period to build on. Very balanced attack.

Some minor defensive issues, but thats expected. I've been saying forever that Cally needs to stay with bangers/grinders. It reinforces his strengths. He made Boyle look ALOT better.

Would like to see Brassard and Zuccarello work some magic, but that's the only "complaint" I have. Perhaps spread the creativity. Put Callahan with Brassard and Pouliot and Zucc with Boyle - they were good together last season.

Zucc, predictably, is having a hard time in this game due to his lack of size. AV seems to be trying to juggle him around to get better match ups for him...
