great hustle, transition, forecheck...overall a great start to the game, Rangers looking really godo right now! Great goal by Richards, great for his confidence. Last season that puck would have gone wide.

Rangers up 1-0!

I'm very glad they have this start in the Staples Center. Kings are brilliant at home.

Fantastic intensity in their game this far, very enjoyable game to watch.

Pens fan coming in peace. Just looking for a decent perspective on Richards. I always liked him as a player and wasn't exactly thrilled that the Rangers snagged him a while back. Obviously the media, coach, fans were pretty down on him last year and he definitely didn't pass the eye test for me. I'm kind of hoping that he can get it together and start contributing at close to what the expectations are. clearly scoring tonight will adjust some folks opinions but what do you guys think? Is he going to get back to being himself this year? Is he simply starting to show his age? Or maybe he was just a bad fit in Torts/NYR system from last year? Thoughts?

he was lazy last offseason. this year he worked with St. Louis and his trainer, so he should be better

so close Nash and Step. Nash looks great. That whole line looks great. I loved that period.
