Love Lemiuex. Hope he fights Tkachuk. Looked like he wanted it last shift but Tkachuk didn’t.

Tkachuk is trying to run Staal. They’ve had something going on all game

IMO, Buch is what he is - a support player.

That isn’t a bad thing. Sometimes you spend a hell of a lot of time trying to find a guy who benefits from being with skill players, but also “gets” what they’re trying to do.

That’s not necessarily as easy to find as one might think.

We have all this offense on the right side and now we just need some defense on the left. That's good because elite defense is still easier to find and cheaper than elite offense at every position. That's why they spent on Trouba.

And I wouldn't even worry about "balance." Your pairs are actually way more flexible if one side is defense and one side is offense.

Also need to fill the 2c hole. Strome is not cutting it. Which is obvious at this point. I only see Kakko and Kreider making things happen.

As hard as Lias has worked he still never has the puck on his stick. Like ever. Just doesn’t skate well enough even with the effort. I just think Quinn sees the same thing and will go with a more Raw player like Howden every time over him.

Kakko has fired pucks wide like crazy. Think the nerves are still there. Just wants to prove himself badly he’s over doing it. Once he gets that first one he’ll settle down

And the pipeline on the left side is incredibly flush with talent. If you focus on the long term rather than the next game, I think you’ll agree Gorts has done a great job.

I am really impressed with Panarin so far. Just have to figure out how to stop good teams from scoring and we'll have no problem winning games, but that Jets game is what I think our D will look like most of the season against the top teams.

We only have one more game after this in the next what...2 weeks which by the way is ridiculously horrible scheduling.

That said, I do believe we need a Kakko goal to make this long wait just a little bit more easy to deal with.

You have off till next Saturday, then off till following Friday.

Meanwhile my guys will have played 1 game in Europe, 1 in philly, 3 in western Canada.

The hawks go home for 7 straight including the Flyers again.

The schedule maker must be antonio clown

Agree. Skilled guy that doesn't drive a line. Not bad for a 3rd round pick.
