To be honest I am totally unfamiliar with Carey. How did he get here? What's his story?

Signed in the off-season on a 2-way contract, 29yo AHL veteran but hasn't stuck in the NHL so far.

I'm not really questioning AV on that decision this game.

It's fine. The problem is, it's a continuing pattern from last year. Everyone has a bad game. Smith is a good player, but he's not on AV's favorites list for whatever reason.
