Even the Penguins fourth line with Vitale and Co are playing some good tick-tack-toe hockey. Rangers have shown no cohesion whatsoever..only Callahan and Nash look like they're actually playing.

Yup. Thrilled to get Nash. But ive been scared loosing all 4 .. all charecter guys.... and massive shut down fowards....... Not saying our new aquisitions cant fill their roles..... but they cant right now. Theres no time for them to learn

1) I blame the short training camp...

2) I'm happy this is happening now and not at game 30. As long as they can work this out and get back to last year's form. I'm not pushing the panic button yet.

I agree. I wasn't a fan of anyone we picked up this year outside of Nash (obviously) ... when you lose that many character guys who play smart D and shut guys down ... it hurts.

We just don't seem like the same team from last year since we lost all those bodies.

Fedetenko, Mitchell, Dubi, Anisimov were all simple players who were good at cycling on the wall. That is the major change I can see right now. Kreider is terrible for now. Halpern and Asham barely play at this point and are totally useless. Our forecheck doesn't seem as intimidating as last year. Dubi, Prust, Feds, and Mitchell were all bangers who can get in on the forecheck relatively quickly.

they look exactly the same to me to be honest. remember how bad we were the first 10 games of last season. hopefully they hit their stride soon

Biron should start next game, Eminger needs to come in, Gaborik and Kreider should be on the 3rd line until they show some effort, Callahan is being Callahan, Nash looks alright, Del Zotto has been mostly solid, everyone else: no comment.

I am excited for next season, I really think with a full training camp you will see torts put in a new system, similar to this with d and blocking shots, but more offense like he had in tampa I think he finally has the right pieces to do that

Its the system, its built around DEFENSE and everyone collapsing around Hank and blocking shots. Our system is dump, chase and GRIND GRIND GRIND. Its systematic whether anyone wants to admit it or not.
