The Canadian franchise way of making trades. At least it’s Canadian change and not American.A couple of quarters and nickles for a loonies.
Pretty terrible for the Islanders.

Obviously if you want a forward you take a forward but if you ask 32 NHL teams probably 30 will tell you Schaefer is a better prospectI think you are really underappreciating how close Misa and Schaefer are. Maybe the islanders pick Schaefer first, and the Sharks would too, but the rest of the top 5 would probably take Misa first
I am quite confident that is not trueObviously if you want a forward you take a forward but if you ask 32 NHL teams probably 30 will tell you Schaefer is a better prospect
and like usual, you'd be wrongI am quite confident that is not true

Like usual? Lol ok Lunatikand like usual, you'd be wrong
We have the makings of a pretty good top 5 with Brustewicz, Morin, Bahl, Weegar and Parekh. Why go after Schafer when we need a top line fwd?
These kind of proposals never go well on HF.
There's biased and then there's.... whatever this weird take is.Parekh is the next Gaudreau/Tkachuk level talent. He’s a special player. Give your head a shake.
Yes, like usual. You often get these half baked thoughts and you cling onto them. As you're doing here by making those bullshit comments about us not thinking his numbers matter. Schaefer is very clearly the consensus #1 to anyone paying any attention.Like usual? Lol ok Lunatik
I guess scoring the most points in your draft year in 16 years and being a dominant 2-way player means nothing?
I love all these non-scouts on this site that "know better" because they've watched Schaefer play how many games over the last 6 months? Right zero
I think Flames fans are in the “over-projecting all your prospects” phase of following a team toiling in mediocrity. Like, Henry Mews will be lucky to play a single NHL game. There's biased and then there's.... whatever this weird take is.
Im not the one pretending a guy who hasn't played in 6 months is still clearly better than the most dominant play in the league. People saying Schaefer is clearly better and "every GM would agree" are making baseless claims. Again he hasn't played a game in 6 months, what is that opinion based on?Yes, like usual. The irony of your comment about non-scouts since you tend to run your mouth about prospects more than basically anyone.
Interesting. People said the same thing when I was hyping up Tkachuk and Gaudreau. And Wolf. And Adam Fox. Check my post history. There's biased and then there's.... whatever this weird take is.
again, you're making claims that no one actually f***ing said, talk about baseless claims. you're such a f***ing hypocriteIm not the one pretending a guy who hasn't played in 6 months is still clearly better than the most dominant play in the league. In your "professional opinion" what makes Schaefer so clearly the better prospect? And how do you know every GM agrees?
Lmao what are you talking about. The person I responded to said, and I quoteagain, you're making claims that no one actually f***ing said, talk about baseless claims. you're such a f***ing hypocrite
and the fact you think "better" is the deciding factor is all I need to dismiss your opion, it's about where they project them... but hey everyone who has sources is saying Schaefer is going #1... but hey your opinion means so much more that people with actual sources
That is the subject of the conversation. You decided to chime in and argue with me about things I didn't say.if you ask 32 NHL teams probably 30 will tell you Schaefer is a better prospect
Oh I see, you think 30/32 is "every GM".... but hey maths is hard huh.Lmao what are you talking about. The person I responded to said, and I quote

That user said Schaefer is absolutely considered the better prospect by 30/32 GM's, and I call bullshit. I think it is absolutely up for debate which one is better.
I am not arguing whether NYI prefers Misa vs Schaefer, or if sources say they do
Take it easy man, no need to curse at him lol holy shitagain, you're making claims that no one actually f***ing said, talk about baseless claims. you're such a f***ing hypocrite

It's whatever, guy hates when people disagree with him. I did recently on Puck Pedia and now he's got it out for me.Take it easy man, no need to curse at him lol holy shit
sorry grandma but I cure for emphasisTake it easy man, no need to curse at him lol holy shit
Victim complex much? We've been disagreeing for years, one more time didn't turn the tidesIt's whatever, guy hates when people disagree with him. I did recently on Puck Pedia and now he's got it out for me.
Victim? I'm not bothered by your childish remarks one but. It's the other user who told you to chill. By all means keep swearing at me. Hell if I bother you that much, block me. MoxNix blocked me too because I'm not bias enough for himVictim complex much? We've been disagreeing for years, one more time didn't turn the tides![]()
This retort perfectly demonstrates why the proposed pieces don't land you 1st OA.And there's no way those two are getting traded. Wolf is a Calder candidate and Parekh is a top 5 league wide prospect. That's likely the ceiling for the #1 overall pick this year. There's no true guaranteed franchise center.
