Islanders can turn around real fast and build a foundation, Sharks need a defenseman not a center.

As a Sharks fan. I'll passHow about Parekh and a bit of a plus to San Jose for #2... Sharks get their stud defenseman, we get our potential #1C
I’m intrigued by this. What’s the other plus? How about Parekh and a bit of a plus to San Jose for #2... Sharks get their stud defenseman, we get our potential #1C
Sharks should just draft Misa.
They have Dickinson already on LD.
Need another C, not sure Smith is 100% a C.
I think if Parekh was in this years draft (with his 2023-24 performance) he's be in the mix with Misa and Hagens. SO not lots, but I haven't thought much beyond the initial pieces lolI’m intrigued by this. What’s the other plus?
I adore Zayne but that's going to be a hard no for me.How about Parekh and a bit of a plus to San Jose for #2... Sharks get their stud defenseman, we get our potential #1C
Dickinson projects similar to Noah Hanifin, not a bonafide 1D. Sharks should just hope NYI prefers one of the centers. If they do take Schaefer then draft BPA.Sharks should just draft Misa.

So we give up Dobson, who is a very valuable piece himself, and drop down to 2OA, and only get Eklund in return? What about this as the centerpiece?
Isles: 1st + Dobson
Sharks: 2nd + Eklund
Maybe Sharks can add with guys like Cagnoni or Bystedt or Haltunen and/or picks to sweeten the pot.
Are you familiar with Eklund? The gap between Schaefer and Misa is not Eklund while Dobson needs a large new contract after a down year. Eklund was a #7 pick and is 22 with 60 points on a team with 18 yo as the best center. His ceiling is a 80pt wing top 6 winger based on his age and production. So we give up Dobson, who is a very valuable piece himself, and drop down to 2OA, and only get Eklund in return?
That's absolutely horrific for the NYI.
And yet it's infinitely closer to fair than the OP.So we give up Dobson, who is a very valuable piece himself, and drop down to 2OA, and only get Eklund in return?

Contracts not withstanding, a 50+ point defenseman is much more valuable than an undersized winger considering both players are in their 20s. Just the way it is.Are you familiar with Eklund?
