It's ridiculous to judge from a photo but I still found that formation atrocious LOL
Nobody pressuring the pointIt's ridiculous to judge from a photo but I still found that formation atrocious LOL
I bet our pathetic PP can not beat our low pressure PK.Nobody pressuring the point
But Anderson is the pony...All you have to do now is focus on Suzuki and Caufield. That's it. One trick pony team again.
He is the Powerdonkey! But Anderson is the pony...
Monahan is very much the same level as long as his plaster holds. The talent drops off significantly after Suzuki and Caufield.
Red Fisher use to say "show me the players".
Too bad we couldn't revamp the Old Forum. It worked well for MSG.
Have we tried burning sage in the Bell Center? Honest question.
Hopefully we can draft another defence man.I know it's early and we just lost one of our prized young players, but damn this team is thin with talent up front.
I see it now, this will be a bottom 5 team for sure.
I still have some irons in the fire with Ghule Xhekaj and Slaf. Hopefully they can all remain healthy and continue progressing.Dach's injury has totally sucked the life out of this season for me, and we're only two games in.
We'll see how tomorrow goes.
exactly we'll have some other young players to distract us. Let's hope for an otherwise healthy season.I still have some irons in the fire with Ghule Xhekaj and Slaf. Hopefully they can all remain healthy and continue progressing.
Man if we go through yet another year of this somethings gotta give. Four years in a row of absolute ridiculous injuries is not coincidence.Probably a blessing rn the guys are already banged up.
Guhle missed some time, Suzuki ended the game in pain.

Newhook's looked good at center (arguably better than at wing) during his short trial here. I wouldn't put much weight into what Avs fans think, they also said that he's not that fast when it's clear nonsense. Not terribly enthusiastic if they were to slot Newhook at center now. Still remember these AVS fans comments on the day we acquired him:
Best of luck to Newy with you guys. Didn’t work out in Colorado. They tried him at Centre and it didn’t click. Maybe it was too much expectations early in his career to do so for a contending team. Hopefully he improves in Montreal and it’s a win-win for both teams.
Also:
As an FYI…I doubt Newhook will be a top six centre. He has real potential to be a good top six winger, though. The Avs tried to force him at centre this last year with Kadri having departed and it just didn’t work at all.
If they were to use him at center, I’d hope it would happen progressively, like they did with Dach last season. Now that they’re in a long term injury situation, I wonder how they’ll choose to deploy him.
There are holes in Newhook’s game that one can complain about, but speed is not one of them. But compared to MacKinnon, I suppose most players don’t look fast.Newhook's looked good at center (arguably better than at wing) during his short trial here. I wouldn't put much weight into what Avs fans think, they also said that he's not that fast when it's clear nonsense.
And yet we've certainly had worse. Newie didn't look out of place at center when he played there pre season. I put zero credence on anything that comes out of the mouths of Avs fans. They are totally spoiled and unrealistic when assessing Newhook. It's like they expect a raw rookie to come in and be better than Kadri was.Not terribly enthusiastic if they were to slot Newhook at center now.
