Staal tried to do too much by going Bobby Orr in the offensive zone by himself with no support. Hard to know how to follow up on that play as a forward when Marc Staal is behind the net with two guys on him.

That leads to the circus with Staal-Kampfer being rekted. Henrik saved them.

Staal needs to stop trying to be Shattenkirk.

Staal's play wasn't the issue. More than enough players back. What lead to everybody being "rekted" was not getting the puck deeper than the red line, numerous times.
