This is a good test. Let's see if the team can pull out a win when the power play let's them down. They've really been reliant on it during this streak and it's not sustainable.

Looks like a classic case of "too much time".

Some teams, when given a double minor or major to work a PP with start it off slowly figuring they have plenty of time.....well, many times they never really get on track, then by the time they do, the time is about up because they made it easy on the PK'ers from the start.

I think NY was guilty of that just now.

Had they played the double minor as if it were an abbreviated PP and not let the Hawk PK'ers settle in (and PK IS a Chicago strength too!), then maybe they get a goal or two.
