How the hell are you this far into the season and there is zero effort on the PP to get Michkov the puck down by the goalline? I cant think of one time when anyone tried actually setting him up for a chance.

There is no offensive minds running this pp and its so obvious.

Only a serious injury can prevent Michkov from winning the Calder this year.

Funny to think that not winning the draft lottery last year was the best thing that could've happened to the Flyers. Justice for 2017.

UGH I should have taken the bet on the over. I figured 4-3 would be the most likely winning score and I'm stupid so I was wrong, but it still hit 7 either way.

Buffalo isn't the first coaching staff to neglect this, and Fedotov has been improving on this front so I assume our coaches are working with him; but he spends a lot of time using his height to stand tall and look over traffic instead of looking around it. Takes him further from the ice.

Teams with numbers advantages (especially with numbers advantages) should be creating traffic, seeing if he tries to do his tall-mode thing, and then shooting low. Either he doesn't make it in time or he leaves rebounds which I don't think he has the recovery to handle well...tendency to sell out to make first saves. They passed a little too much on a guy who was making good reads and staying on angle all game and for several games running now, trying to beat a strength instead of pounding at a weakness. That entire lengthy 6v5 was poorly conceived by Buffalo, despite their possession.

Michkov is unaware that there are bad shooting angles. This is because I'm not sure bad shooting angles exist for him.

Sanheim was being The Him again, too. Will also shout out Hathaway for doing some things I liked. And, I'm not sure he's done anything blatantly malicious so far this year! That's gotta be a personal record for virtue in his part. Lady Byng candidate?!

Nice to see after signing that big contract Konecny has actually upped his game. Shows that he has the right attitude.
We're lucky some people here didn't get their wish and we didn't trade him for a mid 1st pick and some other crap.

I think most were concerned how the contract will age

Looks like the Flyers are 4-0-1 since Richard was called up. He has 6 points in 5 games. He’s 27 years old but the last few years his AHL stats have been very solid. Hopefully this stretch continues for him. I always like when a long shot gets a chance and makes the most of it. It seems the Flyers haven’t had many pleasant surprises in recent memory

Richard is a pleasant surprise, Torts knows his limitations, tells him to score then gets him off the ice. But he knows how to use his speed, just needs to improve his awareness out there, at times can look like a mini-Tippett, except Tippett has size to create havoc, Richard just gets swallowed up.

You can see why Briere looks for speed, they want to play fast, but don't have the horses yet to do it consistently. Carolina will be a good test this week.

Cates is a bit strange right now, he got faster in the offseason, but seems disjointed in that he's trying to be more aggressive offensively but isn't comfortable in that role yet. Did ring a post.

Tiippett - Couts - TK is becoming a real 1st line.
??? - Poehling - Hathawy is a top rate 4th line.
Problem is putting together a 2nd and 3rd line

Hey wait I just saw the Michkov/TK goal and that Buffalo player actually threw a hit on Michkov behind the net 2 seconds after the puck went in. Wtf was up with that?
