Welp no need to tune in for the rest of this. Keep bragging about how great that pk is Pete!!!!! Amazing how many points the devils blow against **** teams, which is a big part of why they are a bubble team any way you break it down

Pathetic. Ovechkin will never have another game this good for the whole season. NJ always finds a way to make backups and has-beens look amazing.

This place is so awful to be around after losses. It sounds like some people here aren't even fans of this team.

but were not playing well we deserve to be down by two more

Hate the "deserve" line. If we should be, we would be. Nobody told the Caps to screw up on that wide open chance. The refs are not dictating this game. The game is what it is.

We don't have a normal game time for the next three games. What the **** is up with the schedule?

dude i don't agree with elias...zajac has been a waste of space this season.... sorry the guy is right.. henrique has not been much better in past 5 or 6 games

No points does not mean someone is not playing well.

We don't need to go into total meltdown mode.

The Devils are struggling scoring AS A TEAM. It's not fair to place the blame on Zajac or Henrique or whoever else. As a group, they aren't creating much offense at all.

No player can singlehandedly create offense, actually I should say very very few.

This would be a one goal game if Moose didn't lose his head for a minute there. It's the second home game against the same team for the Caps, and we won the first one. Who told you guys this team was the Blackhawks? I thought we got worse as a lineup during the offseason?

They're doing fine.

This! Those goals were completely preventable.

And Larsson to the box again.

We were due, can't play meh and get away with wins all the time. Nobody's fault really, they did have a good game overall. And for all I read about Ovie making a joke out of Tallinder he was -2 that game and has a hat trick today.

2nd hattrick against Moose this season.

This team is trending downwards. Say what you want about getting points but we're looking worse and worse each game. Points get you in the playoffs, but they don't mean you're going to go anywhere.

well said this doesn't look like a good team at all right now.... you can be sure the front office is sensing this.. i hate to say it but even while they were winning a lot early in the season it was a lot of good breaks, timely goals and supurb goaltending the goaltending has leveled off and the breaks are evening out ans so is their record.. i think its a pretty good lineup but missing something

Neither does being hot before the playoffs. But it is funny, people saying in one thread that Chicago's peaking too soon and in here saying you need to be playing well going into the playoffs.
