I can understand the frustration with how McTavish has played this year, but he’s 21 years old on an ELC. He’s proven he can be better. Just give it some time. He’ll figure it out. It’s a little early to write the kid off.

It wasn't the prettiest game in the world, but they definitely outplayed the Blackhawks after the first period. And it was great to see Killorn get on the board. I remember him scoring a goal last season after starting slow and it seemed to jumpstart him. Let's hope that one does the same.

Their breakouts aren't good, but they're way better than they have been. It's hard to tell if it's a different system or just better execution, but it might be a bit of both. It definitely appears as if they're putting more pressure on puck carriers in the defensive zone and then supporting better when they create turnovers.
