Pretty much everyone except Salomonsson has started slow offensively. The team can't score. Lambert and Chibrikov really need to figure their shit out at 5 on 5, almost all their production is on the pp.

But this might be a sign that perhaps he and Chibrikov weren't as ready as we thought.

Milic having a real rough season so far. Only one game with > .900 save percentage. Hard to with goaltending like that from him. I get that he did his time in the ECHL last year but DiVincentiis who I imagine got sent down has been miles better and should have stayed up over him.
Luckily knock on wood we have time before we need any moose on the jets.

DD being sent down over Milic is just weird. No, beyond weird.

This Moose team looks like they are going to struggle to be competitive.

I look at the defense they've been using and it's mobile at least, minus Bauer, so that should be something to work with. I'd say less talented though without Capobianco and Heinola.

Toninato and AJF should be decent AHLers, they've been around the block. JAD was competing for an NHL spot, I think he's yet to get going either.

But the forward depth looks very mediocre with Lucius and Zhilkin out. Especially prospectively, beyond Lambert and Chibrikov, Ford is the only other forward who looks like he has a chance at the NHL. The Jets could have sent Julien and Levis to the Moose this year, with their late birthdays, and they probably would have helped. Hard to say though because Zhilkin really struggled last season as 19/20 year old.

Team is going to be relying on goaltending and Milic isn't where he was at last year, so hopefully you see Di Vincentiis and Kahkonen take the reigns.

The concerning part to me is that there are no d prospects on the horizon, unless the Jets bring Freij over as 19 year old, or have Garret Brown leave college. I

And the forward prospects coming in, Yager, Barlow, Julien and Levis are likely at crossroads with the top end of the prospects going out. With guys like Nikkanen, Torgersson, Bauer at the bottom moving on.

Been awhile since the Moose had a Petan-Roslovic-Appleton line that could play, and was ready for the next step.

Surprised up until the last page or so nobody in this thread has been asking about Chaz. Guess we are all used to him missing nearly all the games. He missed the last 4 games in a row. I said elsewhere I would give him this season before I gave up on him entirely as a legit prospect. Given what's happened, I just about ready to give up on him now.

Is Lucius out with an injury or it's work load management?
You'd have to believe he is injured again, as he hasn't played since Novemeber 1st, and his load management before that was 1 of the 2 games in the weekend series. Pretty tight lipped about him, which isn't encouraging.

Moose get back in the win column with a 5-3 victory in Chicago. Kahkonen gets the victory in net recording 22 saves.

5 different goal scorers for the Moose (Lundmark, Liwicki, Suess, Toninato, Empey).

No JAD and Kuzmin, on top of Lucius and Zhilkin still out, Zloty and Torgersson drew back in.

AHL guys pulling their weight with all the manpower lost. Wolves, who are the Canes affiliate, sit bottom in the Central in the A. Next two games for the Moose are at home against Chicago. Including a Thursday matinee.

I remember hearing a Chevy interview about him in the offseason and they weren't sure whether to bring him over or not for this season. With goose eggs on the board in Sweden they are probably looking to find the player who had some success at the World Juniors. Joins a healthy Swedish contingent on the team, up to 5 guys now, with 3 more Finns, and with all the injuries, maybe @Romang67 still has a chance of getting the call.

Good timing with the golf season ending. I'll start doing yoga just in case.

From what I have gathered Wagner and Linköping came to an agreement to terminate his contract in Sweden to give him a better chance to develop (I image the Jets have had some part in this too). The team is, at least on paper, pretty stacked in terms of good players and with 14 fowards competing for 12 or 13 spots every night he has been the odd one out for most of it. He's not better at being a role player on the 4th line than they players they had signed for that role. And he's not better offensively that the players on the top 3 lines. I would say most of the games he has played this year has been to cover for players who have been injured or ill.

So this is obviously a good move for him.

Especially with two centre injuries on the Moose to start the season. Was he playing center or the wing in Linkoping or both?
