This kind of performance at home gets coaches fired.

they lost after being up 4-0 at home to the frigging Red Wings 2 years ago.
In Wings entire history they had never come back from 4 down and won on the road. Another first under Sully for the Pens.
they lost to the last place tanking Hawks at home ......WITH MAKING THE PLAY OFFS ON THE LINE.

This clown should take a page from Paul Maurices book and fire himself.
This team, fan base, popcorn guys, and bartenders needs a new voice like no team/town I've ever seen.

Bourque sounds like if the Pens have a bad 3rd he's can't help himself but call out the coaching. He's stumbling on trying to find any way to describe what is happening without blaming the bench.

That was my takeaway from the broadcast. Everybody saw this team get embarrassed, but nobody wanted to even mention the coach.

They've been doing that for the past 3 seasons now. Last year they had a bunch of those moments as well. Where they just ran out of ways to say it wasn't the coach that was the problem. Then the streak happened and they got their reprieve but that was just smoke and mirrors.
