that entire line are always at the front of the net or jamming the slot. it's no coincidence they generate a lot.

We look sluggish most nights because we're a slower team now.

Gauthier just a fantastic job last shift. He pulled up when the Toronto D had the puck just inside their blueline as they started their breakout. Pulled up so he was on the other side of the red line and was able to break up the play and then just use his size and speed to drive towards the net again. That shift swung momentum. Led to two consecutive quality shifts

Need to get turnovers and odd man rushes, that's how this team has been scoring and succeeding. Leafs are doing a good job backchecking so far.

they're playing very smart hockey against the best team in the league. it's not a great start but I like the foundation

We’ve picked it up the last few minutes. Last season I would’ve written this game off after the first 10 minutes but we’ve played well while we have been down this season.
