Who did he replace him with, Cally ? (and yes, its stupid.. not because Cally isnt good, but because it worked well with Kreider).
Cally is very good on the PP but i think both of them on the same unti would be great because both are most dangerous near the net.

Stupid penalty to take in the offensive zone with a one goal lead late in a period.

If the Rangers keep this pace up they'll be fine. Florida is very fragile.

Is he related to Scott Bjugstad, the North Stars grinder famous for scoring 43 of his 76 career goals in one dream season?

Had a feeling that would happen.. you don't take penalties like that to end the period. And our PK has been kind of meh this year.

Rangers are playing well. Hank was so pissed after that goal. Sick two saves. We will get it back. Tim Thomas is garbage.

Panthers add some defense over the next 3 years and they'll be really good. But I'm sure they'll mess it up somehow

Seeing those moves by McD highlights what a waste it is to have him run around in his own end with Girardi 5v5. Let the also good, but less offensively skilled Staal handle that assignment and pair McD with Strålman who has been the best defenceman in the league at getting the team into the offensive zone and stay there.

McD-Strålman
Staal-Girardi

Tim Thomas is a pretty good goalie. he might not be like he was a few years back especially after sitting out a year but he has had a good career

Why the hell is this idiot Boyle still on the team?

Because he's good.

Boyle’s zone starts aren’t anything new that we haven’t discussed before. Boyle starts just 20.4% of his shifts in the offensive zone, and a whopping 43.9% of his starts in the defensive zone. That’s second behind Dominic Moore, but Moore has seen just 98 face offs at even strength. Boyle: 221 face offs.

We can also look at CF%, where Boyle stands at 51.1% and manages to drive puck possession despite his usage in the defensive zone. This is very impressive, and puts him ahead of players like Ryan Callahan, Mats Zuccarello, J.T. Miller, Dan Girardi and Ryan McDonagh.

The last thing you want to do is give a team like this life.

They did that to end the 1st. Not good.
