Send Grigs to Rochester, give him Lukeys jersey and some makeup. Grigs get playtime he deserves in a league he would be good in, Adams value goes up, we trade him for ROR. Man the profit is unbelievable.

It could work, aye? :yo:

...except he has to either be here or in juniors....

Probably because Brennan is on Grags level, basically useless. I doubt he'll ever be a regular in the NHLer, good AHLer but no future in the bigs.

Yep, he's only here because they don't want to lose an asset for nothing, but he's no better than MAG, or Marc-Andre Bergeron, Yannick Weber...just a #6-7 guy who might give your PP a spark.

With all the Grigs talk I'm somewhat surprised more posters aren't fired up for our other rookie, TJ Brennan, to get more of a chance.
They should try to put TJ in a position to succed to at least see if there is something but I won't hold my breath on a) Ruff doing that and b) him having any kind of success in the NHL.
Until Pommer defers the PP1 point shot to Brennan, he won't look involved or get a fair shake since that's where he earns his pay.

TJ Brennan - terrorizing end boards league wide
To be fair, Brennan had those two glorious misses on one PP and the other was on one of his first attempts that made that loud thud .. those are his only missed shots to date per stats, so lets not blow his accuracy out of proportion just yet .. in what I saw of him in Rochester, his shot was on-target more often than not .. right now, it's 6 SOG, 3 MS.

Find the thread in the vBookie Hockey forum and wager whatever.

Way to early to tell, Myers or Foligno also possibilities down the line
If I was an odds maker judging who the most likely next captain would be for the Sabres my results would looking something like this:

(I'm not going to include Vanek or Stafford since this question seems more focused on the future)

Hodgson 3:1
Ennis 10:1
Foligno 5:1
Ehrhoff 7:1
Myers 6:1
Girgs 8:1
Weber 9:1

Everyone else will likely be gone or entrenched another role.

If the new lines thread is correct, Brennan will be with Pommer on the #1 unit.

My point was more that the change doesn't guarantee Pommer will tee up Brennan. I expect we'll see more of the same with him walking the line and slapping one on through. Rochester's unit made it a point to set Brennan up for weak-side one-timers. Until I see them do different tonight with Brennan, it won't be a fair shake (or good PP coaching) in my eyes.

Stafford should be considered in the odds if Ehrhoff is included IMO.

Is Brennan that much of a one trick pony?

And I find it hard to believe he wont be set up for his shot a few times.
